Most effective product for treating fungal infection in cats - most cats REALLY don't like to be bathed, so a spray is a good way to go - works great for dogs also. And unfortunately, fungal strains have gotten stronger so you really need 4% concentration to treat effectively and this is one of the few products that meets that criteria. You do need to be extremely careful to keep this away from eyes, nose and the insides of the ear during application and not to overuse as it can cause skin irritation and ulcers, but instructions are fairly clear and so far I've had no issues with it, though I generally avoid applying any in the face area, except on outer part of ear, or if there is an affected area on the face. The Davis brand is the gentlest and most effective brand of 4% chlorhexidine products I've tried and I highly recommend it.. Davis also make a 4% chlorhexidine soap which is great for bathing your 4-legged pal and for cleaning sleeping areas , etc. - but again, be super careful with eyes, nose and ears! I either skip the face or do the face last, with a tiny amount of product carefully applied and rinsed off thoroughly after a minute or less.

Great For Itchy Skin
I am very happy I found this spray. My pup started having problems with his skin itching, we have taken him to the vet and he does take Apoquel orally, it does help, but this spray works wonders! I can't say he likes it when I spray it on him, but it only takes seconds and he gets the relief he needs.
