Trim-Lok DDA2513-100 EPDM Dual Durometer Rubber/Metal Carrier Coextruded Trim Seal with Top Bulb, Fits Edge 0.040" - 0.125", 100' Length

This worked marvelously as a trunk seal in my Mercedes Benz 450 SLC. I tried to use the factory seal but I could not get it to properly fit high enough to engage the trunk lid, thus leaking when it rained. I also tried the shorter version of this product first, but it failed to have sufficient height to reach the trunk lid. I did use a film of silicone grease around the entire perimeter of the seal and the underside of the trunk lid to facilitate the seal sliding relative to the lid when it closed. Once this gets hot this summer I expect it to fully conform and take on the shape desired. The deep clip mechanism built into the base of this seal gripped the edge of the trunk very good, and forming it to the contours of the Benz trunk opening was easier than I had initially imagined it to be. In all this was a big help in solving a big problem.

This is an amazing product and very well built and high quality. I rarely leave a review unless I have an issue but there is no issue here this really helped me fix the seals on my wheel flare and with the quality of the material I'm certain it will hold up much longer than the original seal and it also close the gap in the body of my truck to the flare. You can see in the before and after pictures . Whether you're looking to fix a door seal or make a whole new side project out of something else this material on this product is highly recommended

I’m not certain what type of trim this item is specifically intended for, but I used it to trim out an outboard motor cowl, between the cowl and powerhead. I couldn’t find the OEM material, since the motor is almost 40years old. Worked flawlessly! It’s more expensive, but the quality is there… I’d rather pay more in order to get more! Highly recommended product.

Like all of the seals like this, you have to measure what you have in order to get what you need. Unfortunately, it didn't seal the rear window of my 92 Pathfinder only because the bulb was too small; not the manufacturer's fault that I ordered the wrong size. Other than that, it looked great and installed fine. They don't appear to make this with a larger bulb, so off to a different style seal.

I was looking for a product that I could rely on, and "Trim-Lok" was a name I recognize.I could have gone with a cheaper product (some were half the price), but I wanted something better quality.Boy, this stuff did not disappoint!I am using it on the exterior of an automobile, and I was worried it might fly off...No worries here - this stuff clamped on very firmly, and it will not fly off at highway speeds.

Used where there was once rubber flaps stapled between fender and firewall of truck. This worked better than oem.

Fabricating toolboxes for my welding rig and ordered this for the lids. Used it unexpectedly on another toolbox I made and this stuff is excellent! Grips tight at the base, conforms well and highest priority, keeps the darn water out. Will be buying more in the next few weeks.

I purchased the Trim-Lok Dual Durometer to trim and seal the edges of blank panels I fabricated to blank off the sides of a radiator.I selected the Trim-Lok Dual Durometer because it is the right product for the project.The seal is continuous and the finish is professional.
