Hold tune very well
I love these tuners! They really hold tune even after long recording sessions. I put these on my #1 guitar to record my new album, Aventura by Glass Coma available on Amazon music.

Very solid but flawed cosmetically
These tuners certainly hold tune very well and are the a great improvement over the stock tuners that came with my 335 copy. They look great from a distance of 3 feet but on closer examination the metal surface is pitted and flawed. I considered returning them but decided to keep them since they work so well. The guitar now holds its tune all day.

Excellent tuners at a bargain price
The finish and smooth action of these very precisely machined tuners rival their German counterparts at a much more reasonable price. I am thrilled with this purchase, and so far I have been with every Wilkinson part I've bought for my guitars. Try their alnico V open coil humbuckers if you'd like vintage tone at a deep discount. I took one star off the advertised "locking" feature because the tuners do not actually lock the strings. Basically there are two holes drilled in each post, and you take the string through the first hole, bend a 90 deg angle, do one wrap, then through the second hole, with another 90 deg bend. Very stable, and a great idea, but not actually locking in the mechanical sense. At this price? Not a deal breaker for me!

Great bang for your buck
These actually fit perfectly, no drilling involved. I usually go high end, for my more expensive guitars, but I gave these a shot. They seem pretty sturdy, I’ll see how they hold after I put in the pickups.

These would be good budget standard tuners
Not sure where to start, but I’ll try to keep this short. As far as the tuning function goes, these are probably some of the better organ tuners. Like most, there’s a little bit of a dead spot between tightening and loosening, which is a bit of a hassle, but you get used to it if you don’t want to pay more money. They are fine in that regard. The locking mechanism… Well, it definitely locks the strings in. No doubt about that. But, to me the primary reason to use locking tuners is convenient string changes. These do NOT to do that. It’s a pain to get the strings out if you’re using the locking feature, which to me defeats the whole purpose. My advice is using them as a standard tuner by wrapping a couple of times and forget about the “locking” future.

Not great
Bought for my 1963 Les Paul that Turner's were sloppy and getting hard to tune, these are no better then the 59 year old tuning machines. Spend the extra money and buy Grovers
