I needed to hang some potted plants on my front porch. After watering, each potted plant can weigh over five pounds so I needed strong hooks. Many of the "decorative" hooks I looked at have a built in "stop" so that they can only be screwed in one half inch. Because my potted plants are relatively heavy, I didn't feel one half inch was enough grip to hold them. With these hooks I was able to screw them into the wood more than one inch. My plants have been hanging securely for several days now. Being stainless steel is an added bonus.

Hooks are nice , case is nice, anchors are cheap and deform easily. It’s too bad these hooks were not paired with a better drywall anchor. The included ones are not very good at all.

Hooks were just as described and met my requirements. Quality seemed fine. I did not use the plastic anchors, since I was threading directly into wood. I am not a fan of those type of anchor anyway, and would have used something else if I was threading into drywall.

I bought these to hang string of lights outside. They worked perfectly to secure the lights around my enclosed garden.
