Wonderful!
Fixed my squeaking dryer in about 15 minutes. Good for another 10 years I hope! 😊 Remember to buy a small tube of grease to go with it, to lubricate it.

Quality part,works perfectly
I originally bought a non genuine copy bearing from eBay back in September.It was only a couple of weeks when it started squeaking and the shaft cutting through the poor quality material.I then purchased this genuine bearing from Amazon. It has worked perfectly with no noise or issues whatsoever,The genuine bearings are oil impregnated during manufacture, hence self lubricated and last a lot longer and are quiet.Don’t bother wasting your time fitting cheaper bearings, just pay the few pound extra and purchase this one.

Save money buying one of these.
I thought our tumble drier had come to the end of its life but a quick internet search provided the info I needed to fix my machine. One these was so easy to fit and I saved a lot of money compared to a new machine.

Delivery dates
Part very good but delivery was late should of came next day but found out was then due two days later but came a later than the next day delivery date so we could not use the tumble dryer until the part came but now works fine

Sorted metallic rubbing noise
Got this as had a metallic noise when drum turning. Disconnected mains and removed 2 screws for plastic cover on back of IDC85UK and found metal shavings in cover. Shaft had ground almost through bearing. Sprayed with plus gas and straightened and wiggled securing pin out but could not remove drum shaft collar easily (maybe because it has been used in garage)so tried to use pliers but the collar metal is very delicate and I broke that so bad to order that too. Put some grease on and refitted new collar bearing and old pin then replaced cover. Very easy to do but be careful removing the drum shaft collar (castle nut type piece!). Works perfectly again.

No more squeaky tumble drier
My tumble drier was squeaking. I replaced the bearing with one if these and it squeaks no more. Don't forget to grease or you'll be replacing it again before you know it.
