I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with this product. Everything in this kit is extremely well made and worth every penny. This kit comes with 40 little bags of wool that comes in a wide array of colors. (Although, I am surprised by how small the bags are, this is my fault for not knowing how much 3 grams is) The scissors cut excellently, the awl seems to be of high quality (haven't used yet), the tweezers are heavy, the pliers are strong, the thimble is heavy, the finger covers are thick, the felting pad is dense, and the wool felt molds are surprisingly thick. The only con of this kit is the fact that all the metal pieces don't come in 4 metal colors as described (some came in 4 different colors but they aren't equally distributed). However, this is overshadowed by the fact that all the metal pieces bring more than the listed amount (one of them came with 10 more pieces than described!) Also, the eye and nose pieces came with way more pieces than listed. Another excellent plus of this kit is the 'Wool Felting Material Set' book that the kit came with. This book is excellent quality; the pages of made of a thick cardstock like material, and list how to use each tool. Even better, the book includes a tutorial for how to make a needle felted donut and a tutorial for how to clean your felted creations. And I can't forget the felting handles! Both handles came fully stocked with the needles already inside of them. Awesome kit with cute little starter book in Japanese and English. Well worth it and the felt really works. I was able to make a cute animal as a total beginner in about 1.5 hours.

The wool is TINYYYYYYYY, but the foam pad is very dense. You get a lot of very vibrant colors, I’d say it’s worth it because you’re getting you’re moneys worth, it comes with everything you need, a variety of colors, it’s just a very small amount, but the quality of everything is HIGH. The needles are sturdy, the protective covers are thick, and tweezers aren’t flimsy. It’s def worth it! And it comes with a guide book so it’s easy to use.

This is a great starter kit for people just beginning to felt! The box is a little small and it can be hard to fit everything back in, once you taken it out and moved things around, but that doesn't really bother me. The box itself is pretty cheap quality so I would suggest you get a basket for all your things rather than trying to use the provided box.

This is the perfect felting kit for beginners. It has everything you need for multiple projects. Although there are no instructions included, I always refer to YouTube for instructional videos. I am making a necklace & earrings from tiny wool balls. There will be 12 balls in all for the necklace, 6 solid colors & 6 marbled colors (combining 2 colors). If you are thinking about a new hobby, you should try this.

Good kit that comes with all you need to start needle felting! The carrying case is cute and it all fits nicely together. The wool color samples are relatively small which may be a problem if you like using one color over the others, but you can make them go far. Would recommend for others venturing into the hobby.

Opened it up and started using it right away. I don't understand why the glue sticks though. Needles work but I didn't see what size they are. Instructions are more an advert for the product than actual help. Oh and like a cat I am using the box more than the felting styrofoam 'mat'. I take a size 10 ring on my third finger so I knew the finger protection wouldn't fit but I did wear it and the quality of leather did protect my thumb. I was especially glad of this when I felt the needle slide under my thumb nail and get stopped by the leather!! You get 40 small bags of really deeply dyed wool in very popular colors. I don't know if it is fine wool or riving which is supposed to be better for beginners but I guess I'll find out soon. I bought this because the dogs I raise have lots of long fluffy hair and I am sick of throwing all that product in the trash.

This was a great kit. It had a lot of useful stuff, and the quality seemed good. But there were no instructions. Therefore, my kids don't really know how to use any of it without going online and looking for felting tutorials. Which is not impossible, but it makes it a more complicated process.

As a small business I've been wanting to expand what I offer to clients for quite some time. Felting has been at the top of my list for the last year and a half. I was originally going to buy just a felting needle and some wool felt but decided that I should probably buy a kit that has the basics. If you're a beginner this kit is absolutely worth the price. You get a TON of supplies including felt shape templates like clouds, hearts, flowers, some animals, etc. You also get a lot of felting needles which saves me the extra hassle of ordering more online. The amount of wool you get looks like a lot less when it's in the bag. I also thought "there's barely enough to make two felt balls" but once you remove it from the bag you realize there's way more than you initially thought. I love using the mini pliers and the small scissors that are included and within half an hour of opening the box I made a felt ball and a felt star. Now the cons of this kit. There's going to be some things in here that you probably won't use if you're just buying it to make shapes and felt balls but with that being said there's far more in here that you'll use than you wont.

I bought two of these because i needed the product as a gift the delivery person didn't leave my 1st order they didn't read the delivery instructions anyway I received 2 of them and liked what I saw so I kept one for me and the other for a gift.I love what I saw inside.

Very happy with this. The stencils were a good surprise too. Thought they would just be a plastic, but these were really designed for needle felters
