All 25 pounds arrived. Now I'm growing and grinding like crazy. I grind to make flour and I grow for juicing and for my dog. Yep! My dog loves it. He needs wheatgrass for his health too. I have not consumed the entire 25 pounds of wheatgrass yet; but what I have eaten is satisfactory. I would definitely order from this vendor again.

I've been buying wheatgrass seeds for years from online sellers because I grow my own wheatgrass for my health drinks.I was always annoyed at how expensive wheatgrass seeds are and I was looking for a bulk purchase.I was amazed at the price and I gave it a try.I am disappointed and will go back to buying from Sprout people.First, not all wheatgrass is the same.There are many many different varieties of Wheat grass. Do your homework before you buy.The type I am accustomed to is leafy and easy to juice. It is similiar in texture to the soft grass on your lawn.This variety is prickly, thin and straight -- almost like pine cone needles.It does not work well with juicers.Finally, these seeds will start molding soon after it sprouts. Wheatgrass in general is hard to grow because if its too damp it easily gets moldy. In my past experience with seeds from other growers, they would get moldy only if I really overwatered it.But this type is very susceptible to mold. In fact, it will mold a week after sprouting regardless of what you do with it.

I am new to growing wheatgrass & am very glad this was not the brand I tried first. I had been using some from healthy-eating and was quite happy with it (the only other brand I've tried so far) but decided to try this one because it is about half the price. Wish I had only bought 10 lbs. instead of 25. The grass here is very slow to grow and sparse and patchy.

Just a note to endorse the quality and economy of this product. I have grown wheatgrass on and off for years..decided to go "all in", and add to my (protein heavy) diet daily. At approx.6oz. seed/flat, that's 65 weeks of fresh grass for $40.! The quality/sproutability of this seed far surpasses that of my local health food store.

Arrived promptly with no problems. I do not use for juiceing. I raise organic chickens and grow the grass for them (winter only). Germination is excellent and the chicks just love it. For the uninformed, the grass makes for deep, rich, yellow yolks.

I am on my third batch with these seeds and they are preforming as well as others I have bought before. The blades or stalks are full and lush with great color. I use potting soil, vermicite, peat moss and azomite blend in the soil. Grows great!

I have little luck with this seed and am very disappointed. I have tried several batches and get 10-15% yield from them. I do not know if the is old seed or what the problem is. Wheatgrass will usually grow no matter what so I gotta believe the seed is not optimal. Very expensive waste of time and money for me = (

Huge bag of seeds, it's wonderful and they grow very very well. If you enjoy growing and juicing wheatgrass, then this is for you if you want to save some $ and buy in bulk.
