The texture was more important to me
I was a bit disappointed with this product. I’m used to getting the small can that has a certain Texture the bigger can is not the same texture it is very much more like a pate very disappointing.

My dog actually loves the taste
I have a very, very picky senior sweetmutt who would rather not eat, unless she is presented with something that she really really loves. We ended up with this type of food because she was having digestive problems, so the vet recommended this prescription diet. I could honestly say that this is probably the only food I’ve ever served her that she really gobbles up. It is very pricey, but when it comes to her happiness and good health, it is more than worth it.

Expensive! But, more important, it's essential for my dog's health.
Expensive! But, more important, it's essential for my dog's health. It's pretty bad when a dog's food cost more than their human companion's food. But it's great when the dog food heals the dog's GI problems and keeps him happy and healthy. This does. He loves the chicken stew. He must think it's human food. Little does he know he's getting better food than the human.

Ease of converting from existing food.
Prescribed by our dog's vet. Since there is also a dry blend, it compliments his diet well.

The Food is Great, but Don't Get It Here
I've been feeding my 14 year old Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle mix this food for the last 4 months. She loves it. I always know when it's time to feed her in the morning because she'll wake me up. I always know when it's time to feed her in the evening because she stares at me and groans until I feed her. I can tell she feels better than she did on the dry food I had her on (which was a pretty good brand, but not working for her). She is 14 and she's acting like she did when she was 10. This plus the joint supplement I've put her on has given me my puppy back.On another note, don't get it here from Amazon. I had been getting a recurring order from PetCo with no issue. I decided to try Amazon as a one off because it would arrive sooner than my PetCo order. I ordered 3 cases of 12 cans (36 cans total).25 cans were dented, 13 of those severely so. I'm hoping to get through the 13 severely dented ones before one of the seals breaks and the food spoils. That's more than 2 ENTIRE cases of dog food that was dented. None of the numerous cases I ordered from PetCo had even 1 dented can. So, make your inferences as you will. The cases arrived in a box with no other filling to keep items from shifting, and it had popped open from the jostling because it had been taped back up with clear packing tape. I could see the original tape hadn't been cut-it had broken because of such a poor packing job, and then poor handling.
