Hemp Cubes
I love the idea of a biodegradable hemp cube to replace Rockwell cubes but these were advertised as the same size as 1.5 inch Rockwell cubes and they are not even close. This spring I will try some tomato seeds in these hemp cubes but I do not see them being practical for clones. If this company wants to compete with Rockwell cubes the trick is to come up with a better product not an infierior product. I love hemp products but this one fell short of its advertising.

Degradable Product, No Itchy Fingers, Hemp!
Use: Vegetable Hydroponic/DutchBucketOpinion:My very first 5 bucket hydroponic, or Dutch bucket system. No brainer for this product it's not fiberglass have installed household fiberglass and it can't be healthy to do for the lungs and will make anything skin touch itchy for a time. This product is hemp something we used in this country before we decided hemp bad! It will make your hands slightly itchy because it's very dry, but overall not as bad. It is hard to cut to the middle to place your plant but, using a bud pruning clippers (you know 2" curved blade), you can cut them to the middle hole with a tiny bit of work. You could use a pool float noodle too and reuse it maybe but, that is a plastic we have enough plastic in the world right now. These hemp fiber grow cubes you can compost they will break down naturally.Goods: Degradable NOT plasticInconvenience: Hard to cut in half to place the plant in the middleNeed: Rose bud clippers or pruning shears.

Truly organic, not expanding peats or coconut, plant fibers ...1st run with all 3, can't wait
What better medium for your medical mj cuttings/plants (or any other in fact) than hemp fiber 👍 Pellets tend to be overwhelming, as the hemp cubes don't do the expanding which can lead to reforming if left out to dry long enough causing disease, mold, or mildew or worse stalk diseases/rotting; so major advantage is it doesn't soak up as much water towards your stalk and neglect the roots. Coconut husk is like bark and can attract/ harbor mites so it'll my first run with these, coconut, and Jiffy ...we'll see 🤘

These are great
I am new to growing Hemp. But all I had to do is place the seed in one of these cubes, get it wet and within a week it was on its way. Although having some growing instructions on the label would have been nice also.

Doesn't hold h2o too well, but work great
These worked for my legal Cannabis seedlings. Just as fast as peet Moss to break ground. However u would probably like to use fox farm liquids to help get the first round or two of watering a boost of helping nutrients. Also, the reason in my 4 star rating is due to the fact these cubes do not hold water well.

More delicate then rockwool
The cubes are somewhat delicate. I found it easier to separate them with scissors so as not to tear them. They take a while to absorb water. But, maybe 10 minutes at most to soak. The pre inserted holes for seeds or clones are barely ever centered. My seeds that germinated in the cubes are doing fine. The cubes developed mold on the edges. Switched to veg light and nutrients. Mold went away and roots are doing well. Starting to come through the netcup now. Overall, I'd use them if I couldn't find any rockwool.

nothing to brag about
they were smaller than I figured, and they didn't really do anything more than the pellets you can get with peat moss in them

Worst Growth media ever, even wet towel beat this
I tried tomato, onion, garlic chives, cucumber, and lettuce, and salad. Only cucumber and lettuce grow, and lettuce is very weak, whereas cucumber is doing ok. There's a lot of molds, and the smell is terrible, had to treat those with H2O2 vigorously. It also always turns the water into yellow-ish color despite several rinses. I'd take a picture of them but I'll save you from the moldy mess nightmare.Worst medium ever. Waste of money. I bought Root farms peat, and rock wools cube, my seeds all sprout strongly in those. In the end, I throw all of whatever grows in there, mostly mold and use rock wool / wet towel / root farms peat instead. Will throw this garbage away, waste of time, and effort.

Safer alternative?
We were looking for an alternative to rock wool for our hydrophonics system. So far it seems to be holding mositure and works great.

DO NOT BUY
Do not buy! Roots will not push through it as I couldn’t even push a pair of scissors through it pushing as hard as I can. My plants were over a week old in these and I had to move them to another substrate as they were dying from being unable to push through the hemp.

Bag of sticks?
Not as described definitely not something to be used like a rock wool cub, item car in bag that was quite crushed up pretty well destroying the “cubes “ VERY DISAPPOINTING as I won’t even be able to try them but do not make the mistake of purchasing these!!!!

Buyer Beware!
Do not buy this product. It wilted my plants and I had to take them all out and soak them in clean water to bring them back to life
