I needed to get a tea kettle with a whistle because I almost burned down my apartment boiling water in a container which I forgot about so I ordered this kettle and I love this tea kettle! It is so cute, it is heavy and really good material. The whistle is so loud you can hear it in every corner of your house. It was definitely worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. When I say this tea kettle sounds exactly like a tornado siren I mean it sounds EXACTLY like a tornado siren. I was definitely expecting the usual high pitched whistle and was very surprised to hear it go off. Honestly, I’m a fan!Other perks: handle does not get too hot to touch when on stove, so love that since I’m definitely not taking the time to get an oven mitt, super cute, great quality. I have a gas stove and the bottom has stayed nice and unblemished (only two boils in to be fair)

This Whistling Tea Kettle is soooooo much nicer in person. It looks really cute on the page but it's even sweeter looking in the kitchen.It heats up really fast unlike other kettles where you have to wait forever for the water to boil. It's not bulky either and feels very comfortable in the hand and the handle doesn't get hot. This kettle actually whistles when the water boils no matter how much water is in it. It's more of a very loud hum rather than a whistle. It's not an unpleasant sound at all and this hum/whistle can be heard from 3 rooms away.I've tried most of the animal whistling tea kettles out there on Amazon and I can't even begin to tell you how many I've burnt because they only whistle when they feel like...but not this kettle...this kettle whistles every time. It's made very well and didn't chipped when I accidentally knocked it into the sink-hard. I love this product and wish I had found it sooner.I hope this review has been helpful to you.

This teapot is absolutely wonderful! The cactus print was too cute to pass up. It boils water quickly, and my family and I get such a laugh out of its "whistle," because it sounds like a train coming into the station (not obnoxious or anything, just not the traditional tea kettle whistle, but we love it). It's very well made and definitely feels like it will last many years! Very easy to wipe clean, I would 100% recommend!

A gorgeous kettle however the sound is kind of interesting. It doesn’t quite whistle it makes a freight train like sound.

This is a cute teapot, but it does not whistle at all so there is no indication of when the water is ready.
