The one negative is air leakage, low volume
I'm a casual player looking to get more serious, so not a lot of expertise. Trying different brands. This Suzuki was definitely worth the price for a pocket harp. Very lightweight, true tone, decent feel, all holes work. Don't know about bendability. The only thing I am ambivalent about is that it seems like there's a lot of air leakage. The volume is less that most of my other harps, which is nice when I want to be quiet while playing so as not to disturb other people. But this comes at the price of having to work hard blowing and losing a lot of response to leakage, which isn't great training for better harps. Considering that it costs close to $10 and harps a lot more expensive have been received actually out of tune, I don't mind. One other thing - my harp wasn't red as Amazon pictures. It was black.

The Suzuki EZR-20-C Easy Rider performed the best of the three
I ordered and evaluated three diatonic harmonicas to choose one for a elementary school class. The Suzuki EZR-20-C Easy Rider performed the best of the three. So I ordered two dozen of them through our Guitar Center here in Roseville, CA. I recommend the Suzuki Easy Rider diatonic for beginners and advanced players alike. As a low-priced diatonic, it plays very well. I like this harp's tone and easy bending of the reeds. I see no problems at this point. -- Bud Gardner, Head Coot, Sun City Harmonicoots.

some of the draw holes produces poor tone quality
Not a decent quality instrument, some of the draw holes produces poor tone quality. I am going to either return it or give it away. What do you expect for 10 dollars. I am purchasing a much better harmonica, from Amazon. A decent harmonica will most certainly cost 25 dollars or more. This type of harmonica is more of a toy.

Silver, not red.
Seems like a nice enough harp for the price, but my child was disappointed that it is silver, not red—and it was purchased for the red color.

Okay cheap harp.
I'm only considered at the intermediate level of harmonica playing, able to read tabs, know basic blues riffs, can handle single notes fine and am beginning to get the hang of bending, so I am no expert.I can, however, compare this inexpensive harp out of the box with many others I own. First of all, it seems to be of a bit better construction than I expected (one reviewer noted the thin cover, but it seems pretty standard to me). This is my first Suzuki harp, and while they are a Japanese company, this model was manufactured in (where else?) China. I naively thought it would be of Japanese fabrication, as I tend to stay away from Chinese harps (that goes for other products as well), since they seem unable to master the concept of quality control. To me, this harmonica is very much like some of Hohner's lower-priced harps such as the Great Little Harp and the Pocket Pal; it has a similar sound to these Hohners and, like those models, takes more air flow to produce sounds at a reasonably high volume. It does not come close, however, to some of Hohner's better models, such as the Special 20 (my second favorite harp among my collection). And when I did an A/B comparison with the favorite of my stable (a vintage Wm. Kratt Hit Parade), it came up sorely lacking. The Kratt is much louder with much less air flow required, and has a richer sound than the Easy Rider. If you want to buy an okay harp that you won't worry about if you blow a reed or sit on it by accident, this will do fine. However, for a few dollars more, any number of the countless harps out there would be a better investment. As for me, I'll probably bite the bullet and buy myself a stainless steel Seydel Blues Session. A lot more money, but a world apart in quality and sound. One more point as a belated add-on: typically, inexpensive harmonicas like this are cited as good for "kids to learn on." With respect, that is wrong. Inexpensive (that is, most harps below around $20 or so) tend to leak air around the reeds, thus making it harder to get sound out of it than with a better harmonica. They are also much harder to learn to 'bend' notes, necessary for blues and rock music. So to me, expecting a young person to learn on a substandard instrument is more likely to frustrate the beginner and result in them giving up trying to learn. A better harp is easier to learn on and more durable That alone makes it worth spending a few dollars more for better quality.

Price, Price, Price - It’s a good basic harmonica
5 Stars for price and price only.Bought it to play the harmonica piece from Billy Joel’s Piano Man which is, apparently, now a meme. One of my kids plays Fornite and also watches Fortnite compilations on YouTube. I heard him humming things like Vengaboys, Russian National Anthem, etc but he doesn’t know any context outside of Fornite. So, I understand from him that the Piano Man harmonica part is associated with something comical sad or tragic happening in these compilations. Now when he’s moping has to turn off the console and walk the dog or do pretty much anything in real life, I play the Piano Man part. He’s trying to stay grumpy but, so far, it gets a little bit of a smirk. On a side note, I haven’t played harmonica in over twenty years and have found myself brushing up on Love Me Do, He ain’t Heavy, Dirty Old Town, etc
