How the Camel Got Its Hump (Little Golden Book) Review: Great gift! - I purchased this for my best friend who is expecting her first child as an Expat in Egypt. I first saw the book in World Market and knew it would be perfect, but desertcart was a priced so much better! The book is fables telling the story of how the Camel came to have his humps. Very cute! Review: Adorable - This is a great little book ,story nicely told, wonderful illustrations, a definate must for the little camel lover in your life.

A lovely read with my child
My child really enjoys this book! We have maybe 2 dozen of this series and we really enjoy them. They are just long enough to get the baby to sleep and she really enjoys the illustrations!

Perfect!
I wanted a beginner reader to introduce my two grandchildren (4 & 6) to Egypt. This was perfect! Pretty pictures, easy read, and a good way to talk about camels, and the desert.

Perfect to give as a playroom item. Reader.
Perfect to gift to a very small child as a disposable reader. This is not the best binding quality, but for children that eat books and everything else, they are the perfect reader / play room item.

camels are my thing
I love camels and this is just one more to add to my camel book collection. Plus a good read for my nieces.

More Religious references than facts about camels
I did not expect this book to be heavily about religious and made up facts about origin of camels. Seriously?? A horse asked the creator for a built in saddle and turned into a camel?Don't buy if you're trying to keep that stuff away from the little ones. I'm returning this
