Great pan to do spanish omelette!

Now used this a couple of times and the results are very good. Easy to flip tortilla. Well worth buying.

I have never been good at making omelettes. The trouble always arises when I have to flip them over. Usually they break into pieces and eventually end up as a bit of a mess on my plate. So, I decided to buy an omelette pan that folded over. Based on others' reviews, this one looked good, although it's actually two pans that fit together rather than a folding pan. It works well and I am very pleased with it. The two pans hinge together well and are easy to lift as one pan, allowing multiple flipping to ensure an evenly cooked omelette. My only quibble (and the reason I give this four, rather than five, stars) is that I would have liked the seal between the pans to be tighter. They do fit well together, but it's not a perfect seal so - particularly on the first flip - there is a danger that some still liquid egg will be lost out of the side no matter how quickly you turn it. (So, I tend to do the first flip over the sink.) But, overall, this is a very good product.

Only real issue is that on opening the product I found 1 pan very dented around the rim just about closes easy to use though no more burning myself turning an omelette over also super easy to clean

A marvellous invention - makes it so easy to turn omelettes and the bubble part of bubble & squeak ( non-UK people will need to look that one up! ) without them disintegrating.

Do not order this pan. It’s not worth the money. And the seller hid a sticker over the top of a sticker that will not come off. That’s not all, one of the pans has a dint in the outside. Please don’t waste your money.

Perfect for Spanish omelettes, but can be separated to be used individually. Is large so they are quite big!

Dass es sich bei der Pfanne um die versprochene „Höchstqualität“ handelt, möchte ich stark bezweifeln. Der Pfannenboden der unteren Pfanne ist etwas gewölbt, liegt also nicht plan auf und wackelt auf meinem Cerankochfeld. Man kann zwar die obere Pfanne zum Braten verwenden, doch der Pfannenstiel ist ziemlich tief angebracht und liegt nur ganz knapp über der Herdplatte, was ich unpraktisch finde. Wenn ich eine Gemüse- oder Kartoffel-Tortilla mache, verwende meist eine andere (bessere) Pfanne zum Anbraten, lasse alles dann in diese Pfanne gleiten, gebe die verquirlten Eier darüber und verwende die Pfanne nur zum Wenden. (Bei Gemüse- oder Kartoffeltortilla ist außerdem zu beachten, dass der Pfannenrand der einzelnen Pfannen mit ca. 4 cm eher niedrig ist und man aufpassen muss, dass man den Pfanneninhalt beim Wenden nicht über den Rand schubst.) Ärgerlich fand ich auch, dass der Gebrauchshinweis auf der Unterseite der Pfanne mit einem ziemlich starken Kleber angebracht war. Die Reste des Klebers ließen sich nur mit Mühe entfernen. Das muss nicht sein.
