I bought this Joby blue tooth remote based on the positive reviews. Sure, it was significantly more expensive than other blue tooth remotes but I was prepared to pay a premium for a good quality remote that would pair with my devices and do the job. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case.I tried pairing the Joby remote with my Pixel (Android), my wife's Iphone and my 360 camera all of which Joby owners confirmed would work. After several attempts with each device I can categorically say that this was not the case with the Joby remote delivered to me.It was possible to get it paired with the Pixel and the iPhone but not the 360 camera. Even when it was paired with the Pixel and the iPhone the performance was terrible. Sometimes it would work, other times it wouldn't, it kept dropping out and having to be re-paired....... The process was frustrating, tiresome and painful. This Joby remote is not reliable, which is no good to me.Would I recommend it? Definitely not. At this price I would expect a decent remote that once paired would keep a stable connection - the Joby failed to deliver on this. This exercise was a total waste of time.

Changing the battery is not easy. A tiny, almost invisible screw has to be removed and replaced, to change the battery. Poor design badly implemented for an expensive device. I haven’t given it a bad rating as it works well, but I would appreciate a comment or feedback from the manufacturer!! Maybe if I downgrade the rating I’ll get a response?

Took seconds to set up on iPhone 13 pro, and it works for video as well as photo. Very simple and intuitive.Build is ok, but I’ll need to keepIt in a waterproof bag for outdoor days. A tiny, useful product!

I've just bought a new iPhone and tripod and wanted a remote shutter release and this bluetooth device is great. Easy to set up and small enough to fit on your keyring, it's a no brainer.

Best product I purchased on amazon plus fast delivery was a bonus.

Absolutely brilliant, I've used it a few times now on my hikes, takes photo shooting/photo opportunities to a whole new level, no more asking people to take a photo with your phone, I've tested the remote in an open field, I managed to get to around 50+ metres, never mind the 27.5m it claims, that gives me even more confidence when taking photos at short range as I'm never going to need that sort of distance. Don't settle for cheaper remotes, I've managed to velro mine to the back of my gorilla tripod so I always have it at hand, and if it gets wet I can always stick it in a waterproof pocket. Steve :)
