Look for cheaper. But 1/2 tsp in 2oz vanilla ice cream tastes exactly like durian--without smell.
Caution: avoid more than 1/2 tsp daily...... Before you visit se asia--or if unable to return for awhile--the secret to survival is durian ice cream. Because if you never tasted durian--you might never be able to--and the secret is to start with the ice cream. And if you are there then just go to any freezer section. But if not there--get some durian powder. This package is teeny tiny so I will be looking for something cheaper. But the quality is beyond question. Put 1/2 tsp per 2 oz vanilla ice cream. Caution. You might never again want to be limited to chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry and mango. And you will certainly never again eat vanilla pudding. And do not eat more than 1/2 tsp daily. Unless you are looking to cure raging diahrrea. For which this is a sure cure. But another good cure is to eat eggs twice daily. Like omelette for breakfast and quiche or foo yong for dinner.

Great taste
I love the taste, it's pure durian. However there is only 4 table spoons in packet. It's quite expensive.

No nutrition info
I usually buy fresh or frozen durian from the local Asian stores. I grew up eating this fruit so the smell doesn’t affect me. Nowadays, I use durian to prepare shakes. The taste and aroma seems genuine. It’s very convenient to use, not having to defrost it. I wish it had nutritional information regarding calories and sugar per serving. The information would be useful if you’re watching your carbs. I still prefer the unprocessed durian, but I’ll probably keep a few packets in my pantry for times when I can’t go to the Asian stores. A box of frozen durian is around $12 to $13, so the price of $13 to $14 for the powdered form is probably reasonable.
