Exactly what I ordered and at a very good price. I couldn't find something as good as this and at such price in stores. I am glad I made that purchase. My son loves it.

Perfect for Kata
This is a lightweight bo staff designed for practicing kata. It is NOT suited for sparring. The overall design of a polymer center piece with foam wrapping makes for a lightweight package that works well for practicing forms. However this construction is not durable enough to withstand the rigors of sparring.

Inexpensive Staff but not Durable
It took no time until the ends of this staff broke off. It is very lightweight and the foam around the staff adds a great layer of protection for beginners. The price is fair; inexpensive. For what I paid, I guess that I should expect lack of durability. You get what you pay for. But since the rest of the staff is intact, my son can still use it for his personal practice.

Total junk. Waste of money.
What a ridiculously overpriced piece of junk. My 12-yr-old spent his hard-earned money on this worthless piece of garbage. It arrived last week and has broken the second time he's used it. How did it break? He dropped it, on a carpeted floor, from a whopping four feet height. It just snapped in half. Once it broke, he could see inside it, and it's nothing but a piece of PVC pipe with some foam on it. Save yourself the money and make your own for a fraction of the price. Get extra materials. Then when it breaks five minutes later, you can easily make another. 25 bucks?!?!? Give me a break.
