Himawari Backpack/Waterproof School Backpack 17.7" College Vintage Travel Bag for Women，Fits 15.6-17inch Laptop for Student

*sigh* i have mixed feelings about this bag. I love the look of the bag and i've been using it regularly since I got it, but not without some grievances.Pros:- this bag looks great! the red is more of a subtle red, like auburn- material feels very sturdy- the packaging says it's waterproof - it certainly feels like it, but I haven't tested. also, the zippers are well-covered- has the doctors bag opening so the bag stays upright and opens wide whenever you're searching for something- a second, quick way of accessing the main compartment without having to unzip the main mouth of the compartment (which is a two-handed operation).- the straps are paddedCons:- the inside lining is black, so it's dark and sometimes hard to find things- it's heavy for a backpack ( i realize that there's a sleeve for your laptop and I guess the tradeoff for sturdy construction); i'm also coming from using one of those shapeless super lightweight, packable backpacks (which could hold a lot more than this bag can)- can't fit very much in the bag and if you manage to cram a lot in there - it's dark and hard to find- the two side pockets where you might be tempted to put a water bottle don't have any give, so bottles fall out easily and are hard to shove in

I think this bag is gorgeous, but wrongly labeled as i could not fit my 15.6 Asus into the laptop portion. It sticks out 2.5 inches over the zipper - so I have to send it back :(.

Update: Used this bag for the past (2) days—> HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT THIS BAG?? Seriously. I work with home health, caregiving, hospice, etc. This bag is flipping genius if you need to load ALL SORTS OF THINGS in & out during a day; so easy! AND that zipper access that I mentioned in my original review below: It is a massive security PLUS feature. I have pills and meds freq with me & it allows me in and nobody else bc i know where things are stashed. AND I put my glass case and cell phone in the (2) upper inside pockets for easy access. By the time I left work tonight, I had scripts(new and fills), a notebook, empty containers, a scarf, (2) avocados, a 2# bag of gifted French Grey Sea Salt, (3) re-order containers, plus my organizer wallet,——> ETC. start: empty/home: full. I will give a dozen ‘Wanna-Be-Bags away as soon as I can bc this SUPER STURDY, water-proof bag 🌸FINALLY🌸 is what I have wanted for (seriously) 10 years!!Watch the video more closely than I did! That ZIPPER ABOVE THE HANDLES is access into the main compartment. It is NOT a separate pocket, which is what I thought (and hoped for). This is a wonderful bag, love the ‘doctor bag’ opening. I carry a lot and/or pick up a lot each day and this design makes it easier!

Loved the pattern and super durable material. I didn't however like how small the opening is for the main compartment or that the zipper toward the top is NOT another pocket. I bought for the airplane but can't even fit my purse through the top. I am keeping it however as it is a super cute bag. And seems durable. A bit spendy for what it is.Comfy straps and worked better than anticipated.

Sturdy, fairly roomy bag. So far, the quality appears to be just as good as that higher end Swedish bag that my daughter possesses. Holds a computer with a 15.6 inch display snugly. I am not so sure about a 17" computer fitting in the computer sleeve of this bag, although it would probably fit if you place it directly in the bag using your own separate sleeve. Also, I am very pleased with the way it fits on my back. Very comfortable and the contents are evenly distributed.

I like the interior pockets and more structored design. My main issues are the "red" is closer to brown and the is a zipper that opens into the main compartment, not a pocket. This zipper seems totally useless.

I bought this bag because I was sick of replacing my work bag for this name brand bag that was so expensive and did not last. The bag is beautiful vibrant and has lot of good storage space I was really impressed with how good the price of the bag and how nice the quality of the bag was. I feel like this bag will last me for a very long time. I really love how comfortable it is and I wear this bag 5 days a week. I think this bag is so worth the buy great size, cute prints, nice quality bag and great price, you can't go wrong!Update had this bag for awhile now and I still love this bag. I use this bag as my work bag and I use it everyday. It is still holding up. Great quality bag I definitely recommend this brands bag!

I purchased this bag because I needed something to fit my 17 inch laptop on days that I take it to class. I should have compare the dimensions of the bag to the dimensions of my laptop prior to ordering, but I thought it would work. Not only does my laptop not fit into the padded area, but it will not allow the bag to zip if it is in the main compartment. I am still giving the product 3 stars because it is a nice backpack and will work for people with smaller computers.
