So wonderful! Great quality publication!Songs, pictures and stories are a fun and effective way for kids to learn a new language and pick up pronunciation. The curriculum is intended for 3-6 year olds, but older children (under 12) who aren't native speakers will still enjoy. This workbook + CD is enough to be used on its own, but consider purchasing the teacher book and class CD in lieu. More comprehensive but also more expensive. I just wished that the stories had transcripts.Check out the publisher site (hachette) for sample pages and audio files. Also check out Blackwells which ships to the US.

I ordered the spiral bound work book (cahier) with the CD. The CD is great as it gives you the words and songs that are in the work book.Sometimes when I buy French books or workbooks and they say CD, it may only have 10 songs on it, and not the words to the book or cahier, and then you find out you have to purchase the CD for the books with the teachers guide.This actually does have the words and songs that are in the work book on the CD.There are 6 units to the book, each unit has 4 pages, the units in the book are Moi, Mon corps, les jouets, les animaux, les aliments & les vetements, plus 2 pages for Noel, 2 pages for Carnaval and 2 pages for Poisson d'avril.The CD is in a little pocket and stuck to the back page of the book.The work book has instructions on the left hand side of the page, and a cute large picture on the right hand side of the page.It has six mini books, they are one page each, you cut the page in half which makes 4 half pages for each book.There are 2 pages of stickers to use in the book, for units 2 through 6 and the Noel unit.Super cute book to use with young children learning French.

Good book but the CD doesn’t work which is a real shame!

The book is excellent for new However CD is missing!!There is 1 CD with the main book Nr 1 , but NOT ALL SONGS ARE ON THE CD!! Only songs for unit 1 and unit 2 were on the cd included, the REST is missing. This is extremely disappointing since I cannot hold my lessons without the CD Nr 2 and the rest of the songs.Can somebody please explain why the songs from the rest of the units starting with unit 3 ARE MISSING FROM THE CD!?? And how many CDs are supposed to be included with the set: main book + activity book + resource book?

Un cahier d'activités très sympathique qui permet de réinvestir les concepts et les acquis vus grâce au livre. Un grand plus, les autocollants, le CD mais aussi des activités adaptées à l'âge des enfants. Bravo !
