Yellow works
I am currently using the yellow for now and very happy about it. Print quality is great. Don't see any quality discrepancy compared to the original output. Remain to be seen for the remaining colors.

Must have gotten a bad box of four cartridges'
black was dark grey, colors faint, yellow spilled across part of each print, magenta flooded photos, yellow did not print in basic colors pallet

UPDATE: Been what, 5 months? Still printing beautifully with perfect calibration. I use this printer at work, it gets regular use every work day.This was a dice roll for me. My CP1215 printer at work has been printing terribly, color alignment all over theplace, no amount of cold resets and alignments could pull them back into line. So I went and ordered these cartridges as a last ditch effort.Initially? Awful. No better than before, alignment still horrible. Cold reset, then I aligned it 5 times, got worse rather than better. Sigh.So I left the printer idle over the weekend.When I came back on Monday and printed a document, it was perfect. Not just "better" or "improved". Absolutely right-on-the-money perfect. Printed a cal sheet to prove it.So in the end, I guess I don't understand how printer calibration operates. I know every few hours it performs a calibration. And evidently, letting new cartridges sit in the machine idle for a few days was enough to pull everything back into calibration.I..I don't get it. But it worked, and it still works like new. I am confused, but happy.
