Asa please come change my tire ...
So, of course before I start my review, I have to say thank you to Brynne Asher. Not everyone has the chance to receive an ARC to review and I am grateful to have been one of the lucky ones. You have a forever fan in me, and I don't see that changing love. You rock! Now to my review ....Gifts is such an amazing story. I mean, I'm not surprised considering the other sexy killers were amazing as well. When I was first introduced to Asa, I knew I had to have him. And I was not disappointed.Asa is everything you would want in a man. Sexy, good with his .... hands, an amazing father and super bad***. He's a gentle bad*** though. He doesn't get mad unless provoked and he has the patience of a saint. And did I say amazing father? Give it up one time for the man who is willing to die for his family regardless of the situation. God bless the sexy beast.Keelie, on the other hand, is all over the place. That's not a bad thing though, well not to me. I love her because she reminded me of myself. Granted I don't have kids, goats, donkeys or other pets hanging around, but I do have tons of crap going on and some times it's hard to find the time to keep it together. I love her because she is an amazing mom on a mission. She is trying her best to be a single mother, finish her project house, get out of debt and do the best she can at work. Jeez she has a lot going on. But like I said earlier, you love her because she is so relatable. Some times book characters are hard to like because they seem too perfect. And I was happy to see that despite not having all of the answers and all of her stuff together, Keelie was making it work for her and her kids. When Keelie and Asa get together, you just know it's going to be fireworks galore. She tried to fight against her developing feelings for the sexy single dad, but like always, she didn't stand a chance. Asa refused to be pushed aside despite Keelie's attitude about them being together, and that made him even hotter to me. When she finally realized that she wasn't getting her way and just went with the flow, the story became that much more interesting. The love they developed and showed each other was beautiful. They are the fun couple you and your friends want to be around because you have no idea what's going to come out of their mouths; which is so me and my husband. Not only is Gifts fun, but also sexy as fudge! I knew once Keelie got over her "not wanting to be in a relationship" phase the sex was going to be explosive. Brynne definitely made sure of the fact. Have you ever come across a story where you just knew the sex was going to have that extra umph? Well, that's what's happening between Asa and Keelie. Their sex is raw, and rough and super passionate. I'm talking pick me up and slam me against the wall kind of passion. Mmmmmm, Asa.Overall, Gifts is such a fun read. It's action packed and full of drama. It will make you laugh and has the potential to make you cry. From beginning to end you will be hooked, take my word for it. You will love every minute of this story. And just think, all it took for them to find each other, was a bad date and the ability to change a tire. If that's not the definition of true love's start, I don't know what is.So, make sure you one-click Gifts if you haven't already. You will not regret your purchase!

The gift that keeps on giving!
I adored everything about this book. This is one of those rare instances that I wanted to immediately re-read it when I finished. It had me smiling like a goof, sighing over Asa and fawning over the kids, goats and the donkey. This author really knows how to pull you in with every single character she introduces you to and that includes the animals. If that wasn’t enough, Asa was an incredible Hero. Out of every comment/action he had in this book, there was only one time I didn’t like what he did and he made up for it immediately. That in itself is rare to find. He was mature, persistent, consistent, protective and one of the best dads I’ve read about. Not only was he a great dad for his own kids but the way he was there for Keelie’s kids was what put this man over the top.I also, liked Keelie as a heroine. She was a strong character and I love the fact that her and Asa’s ex-wife got along, no pettiness. All they cared about was the kids. She does have a lot of insecurities she deals with in the book due to her deceased husband, but that just showcased how good of a man Asa was with how he handled those insecurities. I also liked that there was no pining for the dead husband. To me that makes it hard to focus on the couple in the book.Really, everything was handled in a way that brought greater enjoyment to my read of this story. The suspense was exciting and really brought out that protective gene in Asa. I think it’s safe to say I loved this book and highly recommend it!

ASA <3
Currently reading this for the 2nd time before book 5 comes out. Talk about a dark horse. Asa is so swoony. You don't know much about him in the first 2 books but man he is all alpha. Keelie is an amazing heroine; strong, loving, funny. Keelie and Asa's story is a great one. Once I finish this re-read, I will re-read Veils (which is AMAZING) before Scars comes out. Brynne probably could not write a bad book if she tried. This is one of my all time favorite series.

my favourite so far in this series
Kellie meets Asa at the end of a rubbish first date when he stops to help them change a tyre. She thinks she’ll never see the hot, helpful man again, but it turns out he’s the dad of one of her pupils and he turns up at her school the next week. Asa couldn’t forget the gorgeous woman he met on the side of the road and can’t believe his luck when he sees her again. He decides he’s not letting her get away this time and barges into her already full world. She is trying to keep her family’s life together after a horrible couple of years and doesn’t think she can take any more being added to her life, so although she likes Asa she is very wary. Asa shows her just how much good he can add to her life. Asa has a lot going on with his own kids and Keelie is drawn into the drama as well. I really liked how different this was from the first 2 books in the series. There was much less emphasis made of Asa’s past, although his friends did help with the problems they were facing. I liked how conflicted Keelie was, but how strong she was as well and that Asa never gave up on her. This book was hot, had lots of suspense and was full of love.

Awesome
This series just keeps getting better with each book. I love how Brynne has kept the same characters in the series but has made each story individual and not like a repeat of each other with a few details changed. Even though, it’s a series, they all have different tempos and different situations. It’s hot, dangerous and heartwarming all wrapped into one book. Loved it.

A beautiful story...
I started with this third installment in The Killers series since they can be read as stand alones and I absolutely loved it. The book was beautifully written and not only did I adore both Asa and Keelie's characters but I loved the kids too - especially Saylor. They all came together to create a wonderful family dynamic and the ongoing mystery/danger throughout the story kept the plot moving.

PERFECT RAINY DAY READ
Well there went my Saturday, spent the day curled up on the sofa soaking up every word that Brynne Asher poured into Keelie and Asa's story. Really enjoyable read but would have liked the other characters from the series to feature a bit more in this book but loved Asa and Keelie and their kids. Definitely recommend you one click.

With all the suspense this is still a beautiful story that made me gasp, laugh and cry. I think in the series this is my favourite couple.
