It charges my surface pro 2
My old power cord died a week ago, so my surface pro 2 was so low on power it would not start. I put this charger on, and hours later, still no charge. There is no little light on the part that attaches to the surface like the original power cord had. I put the charger on with the cord on top, and let it charge a while. It worked. So I give only 4 stars because you cannot tell if it is attached properly without the little light.

My Microsoft Surface is a total lost.
The plug worked at first showed that it was charging, with in a couple minutes I heard a cracking sound. My Microsoft surface went black. It didn't turn on any more. The plug fried my tablet.

Power cables for these things break all the time. Decent price for another cable, time will tell how durable it is.
