Good headphones
The product feels premium and well made, despite large parts made from plastic, which I could see is for weight cutting purposes. The top of headband is made from fabrics, which is nice to look at. The ear cushions are quite big but somehow they still make my ears feel a bit hot. The sound quality is exceptional when connected with usb cable using the built in DAC of the headphones, but is pushed even further when using my dongle DAC connected with analog cables. With that said, Bluetooth codecs like AAC and aptx adaptive are both supported, which is nice to have, the volume when using with my iPhone seems to be a bit too small due to some unknown reason but it is a non issue when I use it with my android phone which supports aptx adaptive. And the battery really lasts like forever, and charging speed is also satisfying as I used my power delivery charger and filled it from 40 percent to full in like half an hour. It seems my choice with this is correct by not choosing the xm5 and QC ultra because it’s much more musical and has a standard frequency response, which is rare in a ANC headphone.

These are supposed to be some of the best sounding ANC headphones, really?
I'm coming from Sony XM2 ANC headphones -- quite old, but supremely comfortable, light, and expected sound quality for the time and price (plus excellent ANC). I went for these Sennheisers thinking I'd get markedly better musical detail and separation, finally get rid of constant mushed together bass, and maybe even some midbass punch. Well color me brutally disappointed in these Sennheisers because they don't sound much better than the Sony's... in fact, I kind of prefer the Sony's.With the Sennheisers, there's even MORE constant, overwhelming bass that is not characteristic of the song I'm listening to that I cannot tune out via the EQ unless I drop it out entirely using the Sennheiser app's EQ, which, by the way, doesn't act like any EQ I've ever used (and I have a full SQ car audio system using an Audison processor and class A/B amps. I have turned off every audio processing feature on my computer/phone, the source/source application being used, and in the Sennheiser app. I have tried B/T, USB, and the headphone cable... all effectively the same, albeit the USB is the best otherwise. There's just this constant head crushing drone, worse than the Sony's because these Sennheisers can make more of it.I find there to be very little sparkle, crispness, and detail anywhere within and above the vocal range. For example, if I play 'They Came in Hoards' by Whitebear, which I use religiously to test how good any audio device/speaker setup images and separates detail... it's nearly the worst I've ever heard. The bass in this song, which on any respectable audio system, never interferes with the remainder of the song, basically drowns out the electronic whip sounds and there is absolutely zero feeling of space, which this song is so good at portraying otherwise that you're almost baffled. The bell at the end of this song, again on a respectable system, will drill a hole through your head when it first rings... not with these Sennheisers... just sounds like someone rang a bell in the room next door.I could go on and on hear but... all these YouTube reviews from "audiophiles" either are getting paid to say what they're saying or their hearing has started to fade.

No connectivity issues, fantastic sound.
The majority of the negative reviews seem to be related to connectivity issues so I just wanted to chime in to say that I haven't had any issues whatsoever. In addition to connectivity, I actually purchased the Sony WH-1000MX5s first but after a few weeks, decided to return them. I thought they sounded good and the ANC was absolutely amazing (the best my proletarian ears have ever heard) but they just hurt my head too much for extended use (more than an hour). I reluctantly returned them and then tried these, worried that I was going to suffer the same connectivity issues that others have mentioned. But they worked immediately and, in the 10 days I've had them, haven't had a single issue. Of course, if they crap out, I'll come and change this. In the meantime, the ANC isn't as good as the Sony's but otherwise, not needing to use an equalizer, these just sound better. They're more comfortable (I can handle 2-3 hours instead of 1 hour, which isn't ideal but maybe I just have a soft head), the sound is good, mic seems acceptable, I honestly don't care about battery life (past a certain point, anyway) but I'm still at 70% and I haven't charged them in the last 10 days. Anyway, those are my two cents. Audiophiles can debate but I'm really liking them so far.

A Little Disappointed
I heard so many good things about these headphones, the sound quality is fantastic and the noise cancellation works well. However phone calls are choppy (I have been using high resolution mode which the app says may effect Bluetooth stability) and it does not integrate with iOS well, for example if I get a phone call and answer on my Apple Watch, the phone call goes through the Watch. There is also no virtual assistant that allows you to answer phone calls with your voice, or respond to text messages. I listen to music while I cook, so my hands are often not free to use the touch features to answer a phone call,The touch controls on the ear cup are very sensitive, and I often pause music or hear the tone of myself pushing a button frequently.Since phone calls and voice integration with iOS are important to me, I probably should have sacrificed a little sound quality and bought AirPods Max instead. For an experience like my Beats Fit Pro earbuds, but in over ear form. Which is disappointing, because I was hoping to enjoy something from outside of the Apple ecosystem, but Apple still has me in a chokehold I guess.

The premium headset to get
I've been looking to replace my Plantronics V8200 for years; I travel for work, take calls on both desktop and mobile, need a good microphone, often need solid noise cancellation, value comfort, and need convivence in charging, portability, and connectivity. The Momentum 4 checks all the boxes.Battery life is insane. Once charging cord (finally) is great. ANC is solid; no uncomfortable pressure or buzzing; and I took a flight while barely realizing we were on one.The folding and durability is nice and can easily carry these in a backpack with many other items. Extremely comfortable even for an 8hr session (and I wear glasses).I am far from an audiophile, but I have zero complaints about sound quality for calls, music, games, and movies. The in-app EQ is a good option. Mic quality is solid and have received zero complaints even on external customer calls.I was not expecting to like the touch controls. I do wish they were physical buttons, customizable, and on both earcups instead of just the right hand one. However, the actual experience (swipe up/down for volume, left/right for tracks, and tap to pause) is solid, with very few accidently presses. On-head detection worked perfectly. The physical button on the headset being a mute button while on a call is amazing, and this is detected in software on mobile (example being discord) and on desktop (WebEx mutes and unmutes itself in software when I press the button on the headset). This is amazing. The Multipoint connection (android phone and windows laptop) is very solid; notifications on the phone don't steal audio from a work call or vice versa. I do wish the headphone jack was a normal 3.5mm one instead of a smaller plug on the headset, then I wouldn't have to keep track of the adapter cord. Minor issue; very glad there is still a physical cable option along with the USB-C charging.Overall, this was the headset I was looking for and expect to run it for years.
