These are just the right size to hold the dry ingredients for a 2lb loaf of bread-- four cups of flour, plus a few tablespoons of other ingredients. I tried standard 32 oz wide-mouth Bell mason jars, but they only EXACTLY held the four cups of flour, with zero room for the other ingredients. These are prettier than the mason jars anyway, give a better view of the ingredient layers, and fit slightly better in my cabinet. They seal for freshness and make it super easy for me to prepare the dry ingredients in advance, and then I only have to measure out three other easy things on-the-spot to get bread started. Also saves me from having to clean a poofed-out flour-measuring mess on the counter EVERY time I make bread, only every few times when I have to refill the jars!The jars themselves feel sturdy enough, but of course, they are glass, and are not the same type of sturdier glass in mason jars that can take a bit more of a jostle. Treat them gently, hand wash them and don't leave them in the sink (especially the wooden lids which shouldn't soak), don't tap measuring spoons off on the glass or anything like that, and they should be just fine.For anyone painfully curious, here's the recipe I use in my bread machine.2 cups white flour, 2 cups whole wheat OR 4 cups white flour (you can see the difference in the one jar with all white flour!)2 TBSP sugar2 TBSP dry milk1.75 tsp saltDon't add the next three ingredients to the jar, only to the bread machine right before you start it:1.75 tsp yeast2 TBSP butter, softened but not melted1.25 cups warm water

I bought Used - Like New for a few dollars cheaper. Its perfect for my storage needs, helping me save so much space versus having a bunch of bulky cereal boxes sitting around. They are light but also have fairly thick glass. They also just look very aesthetically pleasing. The lids also provide a tight seal which is good.Having these now, I would totally buy their even larger sizes to store my other food stuffs if they were a bit less expensive.

Like everyone else, I have been swept up in constant algorithms of kitchen cleaning and organization. I've slowly been moving things over to containers and finally pulled the trigger on these glass containers. They are so cute! The glass seems thin, but not so thin I'm worried it'll Crack of I set it down too hard. These are a great size for spaghetti, but also love the look for oats, rice, chocolate chips, etc. Very chic, great size, good quality!

These 20 ounce (591.471ml) 6 pack clear food/treat jars are very attractive and nice. The bamboo covers are a nice touch.My only complaint (thus the 4 stars) is the thinness of the glass making it SEEM like it will break if treat it roughly.That said I would still recommend it if you're looking for containers for cornstarch, baking soda/powder, yeast, sugar for coffee etc., even perfect for dog treats or hard candy. They're a little too small for flour and sugar if you're looking for baking ingredient containers.Nice firm seal. like I mentioned, just the thinness is a detriment.

These are fantastic! I’m using one to store dish washer detergent pods, in another… washer scent beads, and in the third I’m storing garbage disposal cleaning pods.

I just love the look of these glass containers. One section of my walk-in pantry is visible from the room, and I'm gradually adding more to decorate that space with these containers.They are fragile, there's no doubt. But gorgeous and the lids are air-tight.

Nice size, good quality and they look great.Slight smell to the lids that disappeared after a few minutes airing, so not a problem.I did buy some silicone dots to put on the bottom of the jars for safety, as I'm a little clumsy.Also I used a silver sharpie pen for the labels.
