Does this work for bats in the house?

No. This device is placed into the ground and works extremely well for gophers, moles and maybe even voles.

What is the diameter of a trap? i think it's miswritten in product dimensions 1 x 1 x 1 inches. does it work against ground squirrels?

Much bigger. I use These to kill ground squirrels. Some are as big as they come. Be sure to tie the trap down solid so they donot walk off whith it Bate the trap whith what they are eating tward the inside rear

Will this work on muskrats?

It works with moles, rats and mice. Muskrats are about four times the size of a rat and won’t fit in the trap. Also, the trap works best in a feeding tunnel on dry land. That’s not a habitat for muskrats.

Can this be set in a way that’s non lethal? We would like to relocate the gopher.

Thankfully, it’s pretty darn lethal. I would hate to remove a gopher who is alive and angry. I think they call it a Dead End trap for a reason.
