Mack's Lure 1/4-Inch Surgical Tubing, Amber, 3-Feet
I use Surgical tubing for fishing lure making, weight holders and casting float repairs. This is not what I call a cheap price for tubing, as I have in years past made several purchases in bulk, which I no longer do and this is convenient, not a bargain priced product. I will use this as long as the price stays high for this product, as I don't us much any more. You can fill with shot and tie the ends with a snap swivel for a trolling weight that is pretty cheap. and if it does get lost, it is only about quarter dollar at best. Any size or weight you need. also the inside of a casting bubble is this kind of tubing and can rot out. It's reasonable to just cut a couple inches of this and replace the rotted insides. A jig head and a follower hook inside this tubing makes a nice soft bait, that can be dipped in an attractant for better results, as it holds some of the liquid and slowly releases it upon retrieval. Also, there is the sling shot repair, this is the stuff to use, if you need to repair that wrist rocket sling-shot. Works for me!

Not appropriate replacement part for the Air Storm or Zing Air Z-Curve Bow. Use 1/8" instead.
This gets one star simply because this is absolutely NOT an appropriate refill for the ZING Air Z-Curve Bow as stated in another review. Instead, you'll want 1/8" diameter surgical tubing, which is the actual diameter of the original orange tubing on an otherwise high performing and entertaining toy. If you are using this 3/16" surgical tubing for something entirely else like a fishing lure, then this review does not apply to you. Now, if Zing Toys, the Z-curve bow global brand owner, were a manufacturer who cares about its customers they would offer the bow replacement kit worldwide and you would not need this review. Avoid the same misinformation I received and do not even attempt to thread 3/16" tubing through the 1/8" openings in the z-curve bow.Unfortunately, you must live in the UK to get that replacement kit found in a youtube video. And, even if you try, the UK "distributor" won't sell it to you. The products are under the same BRAND MARKETING yet you'll get the following response: "Our bow is the AIR STORM z-curve bow and it is orange, not green. That is not our product". Seriously! In the US and rest of the world the kit is not even available so you are on the DIY repair plan (meaning you, like me, are shopping for surgical tubing sources and there's no youtube video that shows you how to actually thread your own surgical tubing into the posts of the bow).It is more simple than tying a fishing lure, IF you have the right size tubing. So, if you are going to DIY the bow repair keep in mind there is no way to fit 3/16" tubing through the 1/8" post holes. You need 1/8" tubing, which itself will be hard enough to thread through the 1/8" openings because the tubing tends to bind and compress on itself. So try baby powder to reduce friction and use needle nose pliers to pull the tubing through.Bottom line, try 1/8" tubing if you are going to DIY the restringing of your kid's Z-curve bow.

kinda like when you order nuts and washers
1/4 inch OUTSIDE diameter. was expect inside diameter, kinda like when you order nuts and washers. looks like all one piece, which is good after reading some of the feedback left by others. Overall, I currently cannot use this item, maybe I'll find a use in the future.I work in tech, and have a website too... so I understand the importance of including something like a quarter, dime, or ruler, to give a size reference.

Great for installing Spark Plugs
This worked perfectly for me. I purchased this product to lower spark plugs into my engine so as to avoid stripping the threads by inserting the spark plugs wrong. This tubing easily fit onto the end of the spark plugs and held tight to get the spark plug seated in the hole correctly. Then just pull a little hard on the tubing and it snaps right off. This may be intended for other uses but this is the reason I bought it.

Exactly what I was expecting, and hoping for.
I got this to use with trailer hooks as keeper material. It was perfect. The size, thickness, and durability are perfect. And contrary to some other reviews, it came in one single length exactly as described. I'll order this again when I run out.

Mack's Lure 3/16-Inch Surgical Tubing, Amber, 3-Feet
This offering from Mack's Lure is for 3 feet of 3/16-Inch dia. Surgical Amber Tubing and it is a fair offering, as the other prices of surgical tubing was significant for rolls of this stuff. I will use this for tying up swimming flies and for repair of casting bubbles mostly. If I need more, I won't need a roll and will be getting some fresh soft tubing. This stuff ages in the garage heat and will dry out and crack, so small amounts will work for me.

Did what I needed it to do
Was hoping to "pad" an L shaped hanger, so the hanging holes in the vinyl strips would be less likely to stretch out. Appreciated the detailed description and sizing, because I had limited space between size of hanger, and holes that were to be hung on those hangers. Was able to cut and work tubing onto the hanger, and provide as much padding as there was room to provide.

I would of like for the hose to of been a bit thicker ...
After reading the reviews about how this product came cut, not to size etc etc. Mine arrived today and was exactly as described 3 feet long and of decent quality. I would of like for the hose to of been a bit thicker in size. But for my need this will work fine.
