Yes for me 2 days in an infuser. I use to level the cortisone cortisome ratio in my system. It has a good sweet taste.

What licorice root good for?

For your stomach and also for flavor of licorice. And if you have sweet tooth the tea is sweet it self and feels like you drink tone of great sweet tea with out sugar. Love it.

How would you make oil from the licorice root?

Make licorice oil just like any other herbal oil. You can fill a jar with licorice root and pour olive oil over it to completely cover the roots, then let it sit covered for 4-6 weeks for best potency. Strain and bottle the results.
