Can I use this Blu-ray/dvd player on a computer?

Can it record tv shows you're watching

No it can not record TV shows. I t only play Blue-ray/DVD disks

The product description says "enjoy 3d blu-ray disc movies". can anyone who owns a 3d tv please verify this?

I connected to my 3D TV using a HighSpeed HDMI cable and the player. When I try to play a 3D Blu-Ray it does not work. The same disc works in my other 3D capable player connected to the same TV using the same cable.
