Assembly instructions and program samples vary slightly in documentation for previous models.Overall -- highly satisfied with the value and performance. With any kit, there are issues to resolve and we were able to get all questions answered.Update -- We built 4 units for a class. One unit had a failed ultrasound sensor board. Manufacturer immediately shipped a replacement at no charge. Excellent and prompt support.

This is a decent bit, fun to put together with the added bonus of the Micro:bit being included.My only issue is it doesn't come with the full code to use it as a remote controlled car, just the individual projects to get to know the coding principles. Whilst this is good and useful, it will take ages to code it fully to work as a proper car.

I think this kit could be a great product if it was tested before shipment as a complete package. The programming was easy for my son to learn.Ordered one for my son for Christmas. It was great to assemble with my son. When testing out all features, we spent many hours only to find out 4 or 5 ports did not work, Ultra Sonic sensor, Line Tracking sensor, Bluetooth and Inferred sensors not working. Returned product for an exchange to give the product one more chance.Second kit turned out to be about the same. More port were bad, most of the same sensors did not work. Customer support was contacted and took weeks to answer emails, only to be told we would need to adjust the potentiometers to get the Line Tracting sensors to work. These should be adjusted from the factor for calibration with the sensor or specific instructions in the manual. Customer service never responded to how many turns of the potentiometer at a time or the maximum turns. This may or may not have fixed the Line Tracking sensor, but the other sensor had no recommended fix. Evetually had to return product for refund, because time ran out.Very disappointing for my son and myself. Would not recommend this product. Spent way too many hours trying to get the product to work.In case you think that I should have more experience in technology to take on a product like this, I have been in the robotics industry for 35 years. I am in the Reasearch and Development department of my company.

I purchased this for my 6th grade STEM robotics class. However, the 4ea M2.3x16mm self tapping screws are missing to secure the wheels into the motors.

Unlike most DIY remote toy vehicle kits, this one is well-made, with well-machined parts. The instructions are very easy to follow with excellent pictures (see link on back of included brochure). This is a great kit to build with your son or daughter (or build for yourself).
