Does NOT tilt down at all.
The tilt adjustment will adjust from parallel to about 15° up. The fan motor mount is too close to the shroud for it to tilt down at all. Also, the tilt adjustment screw is actually a bolt not a thumb screw so you must have tools to tilt the fan up. It has excellent airflow.

This fan is amazing & well named “Tornado” it really moves the air. Well built & sturdy.
