Easy install & good value
Easy install, which only took a couple of minutes once I’d realised that you don’t add it to your HomeBase as a new device in the app, you go into your doorbell settings and add it as an additional indoor chime. Buttons on the sides control the 3 volume settings and 8 chimes (some of which are a bit cringe-worthy)! I found that on the loudest setting the sound gets a bit distorted and tinny, but the quietest setting is fine for where I’ve got it in the hallway. For info, I have a HomeBase 3 (S380) and a battery (S330) doorbell, and this add-on works absolutely fine with them.

Easy Set Up. Quite Loud. OK Range.
I have this plugged in at the back room of the house about 35 ft away from the homebase located at the front door. I have had no issues with the signal at that range. There are a couple of seconds delay from when the doorbell is first rung. It has three loudness settings where i have it at the loudest setting as my parents are hard of hearing. I suppose it could be louder but its good enough to hear. There's a selection of ringtones, some kinda gimmicky but im happy with the default. Set up is easy via the homebase. Overall i can recommend it with the Eufy doorbell.

One of the worst customer service teams and set of policies that I have ever come across
I ordered a wireless eufy doorbell in February 2024.The charge didn't last very long, even with reduced video quality and range settings. Despite the fact that the doorbell was only activated approximately 4 times per day, the charge only lasted about 10 days at a time. As this was my first video doorbell I didn't realise this wasn't normal but it was quite annoying, continually having to take it down to recharge. Then about 9 months later, I realised that i couldn't hear my doorbell upstairs very well, so I contacted Eufy (this is their own amazon shop) and asked for advice on whether there was a chime extender that was compatible. They replied recommending this chime extender that I then bought. However when I tried to link this chime extender to the wireless doorbell it wouldn't work. So I again contacted their customer service to ask for help. Several days of too-ing and fro-ing later they admitted that an AI bot had actually answered me (not a human) and had made a mistake and there wasn't a chime compatible with this doorbell. So I had spent time and money buying a useless chime. I talked via e-mail (very slow each time) to their customer-service team and when I mentioned that my charge only lasts about 10 days we all concluded that perhaps my doorbell is faulty. They advised I turned down some settings and check - which I did - so about 4 -6 weeks later after they first insisted in my trying things that they suggested and waiting to see if the charge lasted longer (it didn't). But yes - faulty. So now I had a faulty doorbell product which I had had for (by this time) nearly 11 months, and a chime that I couldn't use. So I suggested that they let me send back both (I had original packaging for both too all in good condition) and they replace it for a different model so that I can have a chime extender - offering to pay the difference. This was surely the best solution for everybody. But they wouldn't even entertain this possibility even though they'd sold me a faulty product and an incompatible doorbell chime.Eventually they agreed to replace my faulty doorbell. They then sent another doorbell which didn't work at all - it wouldn't pair. This whole replacement process took several weeks because they are so so slow at responding properly, each time only half answering. They also do that infuriating thing of apologising for 'your frustration' when actually they should be apologising for their faulty product and for your wasted time and money and for their poor advice!!!Every time you contact the customer service team even if you reply to them literally 1 minute later, there is always at least 24 hours until their next response, sometimes much longer. This is just not good enough. They also obviously use a lot of AI - not entirely sure if anybody I 'spoke' to on the e-mail was human to be honest as there was so much cut-and-paste style bland hollow repetition. This means that even a simple matter takes about a week to advance because they don't answer all of the questions. This is extremely annoying and quite disrespectful of their customer's time and makes you feel very invaluable and not believed by them. They have now (finally) sent me a working version of the wireless doorbell but this isn't compatible with this chime. The doorbell seems OK and the charge lasts much longer - great. they gave me a refund for this chime eventually too. But I still am not happy as I would have rather had all this time saved and they sent me a doorbell with a chime extender and charged me the extra.Their customer service is ridiculously bad.If you buy a product form this company and it is faulty, I'd suggest complaining to Amazon rather than their pathetic customer service team as you are more likely to get your money back quickly and efficiently that way so that you can start again.

Not great, but the only real option for some.
I purchased a Eufy doorbell a couple of years ago after having invested in a number of their security cameras and being happy with them. At the time I had a couple of Amazon Alexa devices which, with a lot of faffing around, I managed to get working with the doorbell so that the Alexa devices rang when the bell was pressed. However since then, I've replaced my Alexa devices with Apple Homepods only to find that although Eufy cameras work with Apple Homekit, their doorbells do not (well, my 2K doorbell doesn't) and so does not work with my Homepods. Even though you can have the Eufy Homebase ring when the doorbell is pushed, this is no good as you will only hear the doorbell in the location where the Homebase is located. So I had little choice but to either revert to using Amazon Alexa devices (which I don't want to do) or purchase this add-on doorbell chime. The chime is very easy to set up and works as advertised. However, I've only rated this 3 stars for one simple reason. For an add-on chime I would have expected this to be louder (there's only 3 volume settings) and the highest isn't loud enough in my opinion. For the price that you pay for these doorbells and the limitations out of the box, they really should include this with the doorbell. I can't imagine it costs much to produce these as the electronics in them seem very basic.

Ease of use
This is the second one I have installed to hear the bell, as well as the other one. Just plug in press bottun to connect and off it goes

Nice product that does the job well for a entry door video bell
Products are well made and are reasonably easy to set up but in the absence of a decent products manual there is a need to speak to a customer technical/sales advisor/person. I have spoken many times to get clarity and to be able to get best from this equipment and the English speaking advisors are extremely helpful and patient with questions and advice. Thanks Eufy
