This Vitamin D3 is what was reccomended for me to use on a daily basis by my Bariatric Surgeon. Due to poor absorbtion I need to take a 50,000 mcg dose daily. Everyone needs to supplement our vitamin D3 because we don't get enough through our diet or sunshine.For those that have had a Gastric Bypass or Gastric Sleeve it is extremely important to take a higher dose to keep your D3 level where it needs to be. Non bariatric people can take 1,000 mcg a day or 5,000 mcg a week. But if you have had bariatric surgery then because of malabsorption ,we need 50,000 mcg daily. My D3 blood level has been within normal limits for several years by taking this supplement daily. The best reason for using this brand is it is a tiny capsule that is easy to swallow !!! You can purchase this brand on Amazon Subscription which saves you money and you dont need to remember when you need a refill it is shipped automatically! Great price as well!!

I got these after my doctor prescribed me a specific brand name D-3 that my pharmacy refused to fill.I panicked at first, but was relieved to find these on Amazon for less than a third of the price of the name brand. The reviews were good but I was still a little skeptical.After just a couple of doses, I could tell the difference in my energy levels. I was always prescribed daily small dose D-3, but using these less frequently instead (with my doctor’s dosing recommendation) has finally made a difference in my D levels.

DON'T copy me, I did my own experimenting. 150000 has cured my ears which were blocked from hearing by a ear infection beyond the ear drum, the doctor and the second doctor both said. Had the ear infection on and off for years. one day after D a few months (with magnesium and K2 some other things) one ear popped open! I cut back a bit on D and the ear closed again. Went back up to 150,000 daily and in a few days it opened again. Then about a month more and the other ear opened!It is working on my car wreck injuries. Dr said I'll never walk more that a little, and no slopes or stairs, ever. Hey! it's been a long hard slog but i walked a mile a week ago. Next goal is 2 miles. Not this week, D heals slowly, but a lot better that "just sit and watch TV and have a nice life that way" which one Doctor suggested.Recommend book by Jeff T Bowles, on Amazon, Kindle version is cheap and more complete than paperback, The Miraculous Cure for and Prevention of All Diseases. Doesn't mention D3 in the title but that's what the book is about.

This is the real deal!! Corrected a vitamin d3 deficiency for me through another lab test!! easy to take!!

I've had bariatric surgery and require dry vitamin D in large doses on a daily basis. It can get expensive, so I decided to give this one a try. It's a good value for the money, and my blood test results indicate that it's working, so I'll continue with this brand unless I find a better value.
