Es un cuaderno de dibujo hermoso, el color de la portada, las hojas con ese tono ocre claro le da un toque de antigüedad a los dibujos. Definitivamente lo volvería a comprar, ojalá no pierdan la calidad.

So I have recently started using the "Royal Talens: Art Creations Sketchbook" for my art, since I need a good quality sketchbook that is on cheaper end of the price spectrum. I have heard great things about this sketchbook, so I figured I'd try it out. & I have to say, I am a huge fan.For one, there are tons of great color options! This specific one I'm reviewing is the yellow color, but there are a load of colors to choose from [red, green, purple, black... there are several options, so you're able to choose a color that speaks to you]. I have two others in a navy blue & light blue color.I then have to get into the paper quality - it's a solid option, especially for my multi-media artists. This sketchbook handles everything at my disposal: graphite, ink, colored pencils, acrylic paint [this will also handle other mediums like watercolor as well, I just don't use watercolor so that's why it's not on my list]. The paper measures 140 g/m2, making this a great option for a lot of mediums.Finally, the price. $11, which comparing that to a moleskine is about half the price, depending on the size of course. Overall, this sketchbook is fantastic, and has been a humongous help in improving my artistry as an artist. I highly recommend this sketchbook, to the beginner artist who needs a good sketchbook option, to the advanced artists with years of experience. Regardless of who you are, this sketchbook will fill your sketchbooking needs.

My daughter is very artsy and draws little pictures on this book. This is her second book and the quality of the paper is great.

Absolutely a great sketchbook. While the paper isnt great for mixed media, Ive used it with wet supplies, and have collaged, painted and cut up this book with great success for a midlevel sketchbook.I also love to travel with this book and do colored pencil sketches. It’s a great alternative to more big name brands and Ive already bought 2 and filled 1.

The paper is thinner than I was hoping. I do mixed media with primarily watercolors and colored pencils. I have torn the paper a few times with my watercolor washes. It's a fine sketchbook for pencils or pens and does hold up to lighter washes. The binding is good.

It takes ink and wash well. Ite very similar to handbook travelogue (I actually like that one better but it's about 5 dollars more)It doesnt take loads of water like the travelogue..it will get all splotchy if you use too much but fir a throw around daily sketchbook, it's fine. I'd prob give it 4.5 stars if that was an option. Would I buy it again? If I was strapped for cash, sure. However, I do love the travelogue sketchbook so I'd prob go with it otherwise (not the watercolor one.. that one sucks and you cant layer in it.This is good enough to throw down some sketches though without feeling bad about wasting paper or to just ideas out or if you want to write on some pages, it doesnt feel like sacrilege. For those reasons, I'd buy this one.

Makes art enjoyable.

Me ha gustado mucho usarlo, ya van tres que compro de esta marca. El papel es muy resistente para medios secos y solo lo recomiendo para gouache y acrílico en medios aguados, no es bueno para acuarela, ni para hacer un sketch básico . También me gusta usar plumines delgados , y los plumones tipo tombow se ve muy bien, pero si traspasan la hoja, por lo que se desperdicia esa parte (o yo la recubro con gesso o acrílico para hacer otro tipo de ilustración)

Me gustó muchísimo, el papel es super suave y tiene un tinte color beige, no es completamente blanco. Los medios que mejor le van son los lápices de colores, el gouache no muy líquido y los marcadores (solo que estos pueden traspasarse). Solo cuidado con las acuarelas ya que el gramaje no es muy alto y el papel quedaría muy arrugado.

Super carnet de très bonne qualité.- la couverture est rigide et de très bonne facture.-les pages sont assez épaisse pour le dessin.-il est facile d’ouvrir le carnet et de dessiner sans qu’il ne se referme sur lui même comme un livre, se met à plat très facilement donc top pour le dessin.L’un des meilleurs carnet que j’ai pu tester et franchement pas spécialement chère.

I've been using this for gouache, pencil sketches and inks and I think it performs really well for it's low price. Very satisfied.
