We have 4 indoor (formerly feral) cats that have become spoiled beyond being reasonable (when it comes to what they'll eat). For almost a year, their main canned food of choice was different fish varieties from both the Reveal and Applaws brands. And when you look at those foods, they resemble human foods in both texture and smell. But like anything else, pets will eventually tire of eating the same flavors day after day, and the next thing I knew, I was laying out this expensive food, only to have them walk away from it (talk about a waste of money).Over the past year I've dished out several hundred dollars trying to find a cat food label and flavor that will once again cause my cats to go bonkers - there were a few flavors from the Wervua brand, that my cats seemingly liked (but never finished), yet finding something that they'd virtually inhale, was difficult at best.Now enter the Almo Nature brand. I ran across this brand by mistake on Amazon, and thought I'd give the 12-can sampler a try, not expecting much, given my cats' track record. When it arrived, I immediately opened two cans of the Tuna and Shrimp flavor and while doing that, I noticed the cats eagerly sniffing the air. When I laid the food down - well, that's all she wrote as they inhaled it and wanted more. The next day I tried a different flavor, and the same thing - the cats finished off every last morsel, although they preferred the tuna selection the best. I couldn't believe it - after a long year of trying to find something they'd really like, I stumbled across a brand (and flavors from that brand) that my cats immediately enjoyed.So now, I plan on ordering several cases of different flavors (the fish varieties from Almo Nature) - looks like my quest for a suitable replacement has finally come to an end. Thank you Almo Nature - you produce a high quality, tasteful blend of cat foods. And it doesn't hurt that the food looks good enough for humans also (taste, smell, and texture).Now look, it should be underscored that just like humans, no two cats will enjoy the same food. I'm sure there are some folks who had written that their cat(s) didn't like the Almo Nature brand - that's understandable as any review is subjective. All I can say here is that in our case, my 4 cats gravitated to this brand of flavors quickly, and that's all that I can report.Easily rates 5 stars!!!

This is pretty good, just a bit expensive.

Cat had the farts but I think thats because he finally ate something decent and it helped his digestion. Poor thing was probably constipated from regular cat food. He eats it all the same but at least I dont gag from the smell when I open these. The normal food distributers are basically feeding humans poison now so I can't imagine what goes into the food. Pretty small cans and way expensive for what it is but I guess it is better for him. The stinky cat farts are a sign that something is going on lol. I know that when that happens to me its usually because I was having digestive problems that are working to resolve themselves so that regular cat food was probably awful. Like I said open a can of regular cat food and it will make you gag. The funny thing is I tried to cook him chicken/fish and he wont eat it, maybe I need to grind it up and put it in a can and pretend to open it.
