Where talking action poses that are far better than any American book trying to do the same thing. Shows different angles of the same fight scene that are graphically great. Only problem is that the pictures are small but are of high quality.

I like that actions are shown from various angles, both in clothes and swimsuits (no nudes). The models are attractive and fit, and clearly athletic. The images show a lot of kicking, some shooting and some sword and knife fighting, with a primary "hero" model and two secondary models.However, size matters. When I purchased the book I anticipated an 8 1/2"X11" format, and the book is 7.25"X10.25" (25.5X18.5 cm), which makes for a big difference for any kind of desk-reference book. What this means is that many of the images are only around 5 cm tall, or about 2".While this doesn't make this impossible to work with, it can limit some of the uses for reference without the assistance of a photocopier to enlarge the images.Am I glad I purchased it? Yes. I have an will continue to make use of it for referencing illustrations. Do I wish I had a better idea what to expect? Also yes.

Amazing book to reference dynamic poses.

I'm gonna keep it short and simple for any amateur animator like myself having problems drawing certain action poses I highly recommend this book to help up you're game.

This book really helps with positioning and seeing the angles of multiple dynamic poses. It really helps with seeing how long or how each limb should really look like at a certain angle within an action.

It has so many good fighting poses, but mostly too small. It doesn’t have any CD or DVD with original image files. I can’t see the details of human figure because of small size and low contrast.
