A good quality cable, with plenty of wire under the insulation and still very flexible. Didn't use the crimps but they look ok too. Works well and for a fraction of the price of a cable from a main dealer. Very impressed!

I wanted a shorter lead for my Yaesu ft991 as the original is 3m long and most of it is rolled up . The new lead is perfect. Same gauge wire as the original and there’s no need for any coils if wire as it is just long enough.

CABLE - Sheath is marked as B316944 AWM 1015 12AWG VW-1 105°C 600V AWM 1 A FT1 105°C 600V 12AWG JIN RUI HUA & feels like PVC.CORE - It Consists of 65 Strands of Tinned Copper wire (presumably the stranding is 65/30 TC LHL)DIMENSIONS -Diameter - 0.157" / 3.97mm ODLength - 1.01m Long - this was with it pulled taught & measured from the very tip of the plug to the cut end of the cable.At the "Y" split point, where it feeds into the Radio Plug I noticed the "upper wire" was of a slightly smaller diameter - 0.137" / 3.5mm OD this was of no concern as it is only carrying half of the 30A shared load.Glue Lined heat shrink is used to cover the Y joinFuses - 2 x 30A ATO (REGULAR) size blade fuses are supplied already fittedFuse Holders - interlocking with latching caps to suit ATO (REGULAR) Blade fuse size i.e. NOT Mini or Maxi**NB** A female spade connectors inside one of fuse holders was barely making contact with the fuse's blade, this high resistance connection got hot very quickly on TX. It was easily remedied with a screwdriver and pair of pliers to nip it up. Check before use!Ring Terminals - The supplied Red & Black ring terminals are marked 16-14 / 2-6 & will fit over a 6mm stud,**NB** - Whilst these 16-14 AWG ring terminals will accommodate all of the strands of the supplied 12AWG cable, if I was using rings I would definitely swap them out for a pair of correctly sized 12-10 AWG items.My cable was assembled correctly, & all cables were in the right ports on the plug.All crimps appear good & feel firm, with no stray strands protruding.I'd say this product, although not of the exact same quality as the original Yaesu part, certainly offers decent value for money - but does require the **NB** checks &/or changes as listed above. 73

This is ideal has it all right length thickness fuses in line an spades no faults

The cable arrived next day and works fine for me.

Well made, fits the yaesu FT-891 and locks in place. Good replacement for the factory original.
