Well worth. the price...a penny per serving
This is a very good spice blend that does in fact leave you feeling as if you had ingested actual salt.Unlike other similar leading products, Bensons does not contain potassium or potassium chloride which can also pose health concerns if one suffers from CKD.In reading the reviews of others some express concern of the price compared to its competitors. First of all they are not comparing apples to apples. Bensons has its own unique blend without potassium chloride. The bottle states 85 servings per container which equates to a little over a penny (1.4 cents ) per serving. Expensive? In most cases I think not. Do your self a favor and try a bottle to see if you want to commit further. I did and it passed with flying colors for me

Sodium Free & Low in Potassium
This salt substitute may not look like regular salt, but it sure does taste like it. The added feature for me is that it’s also low in potassium. I don’t care for the taste of salt, but I DO like it on corn. It’s a bit tan in appearance but it really works for my use. It’s a small size bottle and the holes are big. I emptied the bottle into a different salt shaker and that works better for me. If you need to cut down on your sodium plus potassium, give this a try. I’m glad I did!

Good
This is actually a pretty nice alternative to salt. It takes a little bit to get use to. It has a lemon flavor to it so if you don't like that, you may want to try something else. Surprisingly, I don't like lemon but I've adjusted to this. It works well on almost every meat, although I didn't like it on tilapia as much. It does not do well on vegetables, but it's great on potatoes. It's alot of trial and error with every food you try it on. It does add enough flavor to not miss salt as much.

Too expensive for what you get!
Too expensive. You can get similar flavor results using something like Dash (I.e., Mrs. Dash) for about $3. Or, make your own concoction, using herbs & spices – ground onion powder, garlic powder, etc. I won’t be buying this project again.

No sodium and so good!
I am on a sodium restricted diet and did not enjoy most foods until I found Benson;'s Table Tasty. The original is so good and I put it n everything from popcorn to chicken, to pasta, to eggs. You can not go wrong with this Table Tasty.

FINALLY ! A worthy salt substitute.
FINALLY. A worthy salt replacement. I've tried them all and this is the ONLY suitable salt replacement I have found. No, it's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close. It actually tastes like salt but without the bitter or chemical aftertastes of all those other supposed substitutes. That said, there is one drawback. It is definitely an after cooking add on. it doesn't work as an additive while cooking. But, that's not a big issue for me because that's usually when I add my salt fix anyway. Also, there is a slight "tang" at first but it's not unpleasant or bothersome for me. If you are a salt fiend like me, and you have reached the point of no return, look no further, this is the salt sub for you...

Useless expensive product
I just used it on my pasta, not only doesn’t taste lie salt, it tastes so unpleasant that had to take a sip of some drink after each half spoonful, no exaggeration, I needed some nutrition, I am planning to wash and boil most of the pasta in the pot. This are the problems with this product:1-First of all it has no salty taste!2- It has no potassium th element that most people on salt substitute nee!3- It Does not taste like anything if you use small amount and taste bad if you increase the amount in search of salty taste!!!!4- It is expensive, not only for its bad/ useless qualities, it is expensive for its amount

It tastes good.
I suddenly acquired Meniere's Disease. I needed a salt substitute. Bensons was great and satisfying for that salty food urge, like on your eggs, for starters. I will try other flavors.
