Only lasted a week before the male end became very loose and wouldn't stay connected to the battery. The wires are only 22 gauge which is very small and there short, its hard to reach an outlet that you cant get right up on. You cant take the housing apart because its glued together. My old charger from factory still works 3 years later. I just wanted a second to keep at work because I ride bike everyday to work. Save yourself the hassle and kicking yourself and buy a better charger.

When I first plugged this into my laptop ( a Dell Inspiron 15 3000) bios did warn me that the power supply wasn't an adequate power level. I feared for the worst. HOWEVER, after ignoring the warning and booting up anyways, the charger worked just fine. It MAY be a tad on the slow side, but I haven't personally noticed any difference between it and my original cord--at least not enough to be significant or worthy of a low score. Just be warned that every time I start up my laptop, I get this warning message. But it's quick to just hit continue and go on about your work.
