Excellent product for a reasonable price.
After removing all black/silver fillings and replacing them with apparently HG free white composites this saliva test comes as a shock to me. My teeth are still full of it. Test is very easy to do and at reasonable price. It takes few minutes to do and results are ready after 20 min. You can use it to test saliva, urine, tab water or any kind of liquid including meat juice. There is even an instruction how to test fish meat for the heavy metal content. Would I do it? Probably not as we do not have an access to fresh fish source.

Not convenient for testing your vintage plastic bowls and containers!
This was complete waste of money. I was going to test my orange and red vintage plastic bowls for heavy metals since they are notorious for containing cadmium. There were no instructions for that in the package. As advised, I sent e-mail to the manufacturer: you need to break off a piece of plastic, grind it and so on, to make a testing solution. No thanks. I would have saved money by getting rid of all my old bowls and buying a set of new ones from Ikea :-(.

Re; Reasonable indicator of what is happening
Received promptly, instructions easy to follow, pipette not easy to read, but manageable and results good as a general indicator of what is happening but maybe need for detailed tests at some stage! Also did not have to wait 6mths for this this test in a waiting list BUT need for instructions on disposable of solution etc safely. NOTE MUST BE VERY CAREFUL IN USING THIS TEST RE SAFETY ISSUES -remove all children or do the test elsewhere!

Metal Detox reccommended!!
After been told my amalgam fillings may be the cause of my Cronic pain (I’ve had x7 for 30years). I decided to do the test on both urine and saliva.. saliva turned orange and urine deep red which looks like I have a build up of mercury and lead.I’ve booked to have all my amalgams out next week and have now been on a heavy metal detox diet. Do your research, it’s reccommended prior to amalgam removal and 6 months after. The supplements I was recommended for removing metal are:- Clean Chlorella- Activated Charcoal- Sulphur- Cystine- Glutathione- CorrianderAvoid all fish and tap water..I’ve done this for 3 weeks and it’s amazing how much my inflammation and arthritis has improved! I’m not someone who really believed in alternative therapies before but please if you have pain or tinnitus or lethagy give it a go!The test just reassured me I’m making the right decision removing my amalgam fillings.I’ve been told mixed opinions over the years, my dentist said leave them alone so I did but my friend who’s a Dr said the reality is modern lifestyle (mobile phones, flying, computers, cause the fillings to produce more mercury vapour than they used to do your research there’s lots of papers out there from other countries that have banned the use. Make your own decision but remember as it’s todays effects that are causing issues not that of 20 years ago or that of 100 years ago when people didn’t have technology to interact and generally didn’t live past 40yrs anyway to know long term neurological issues.I’m going to do the test in 6 months after my continued detox (it takes at least 6 months for your body to remove heavy metals).*I ordered the tests for my mother too.. her results were grey revealing just traces of metals, she lives the other side of the country and had all her teeth removed.. She also puts all her water through a Berkey water filter which removes all metals and chemicals, I’m now going to invest!!Well worth taking the test!!

Easy to use
This product was easy to use and splits the metals up, however it shows from 5ppm which is well below the safety level for drinking water which is what I was testing. As the metal i was testing for was not present this provided the answer i needed. Excellent value for money and I would recommend it

UK tap water appears to have Mercury
The test is easy to use and seems to be one of the more accurate ones on Amazon. Please note you only get one test so read the instructions thoroughly. I tested my tap water as I wasn't sure how old the pipes were and wanted to check for lead. It turns out there is Mercury present in the water, which is very concerning. I will be sticking to bottled water.
