seems to work well
Works well and does the job but the spatula is no good for mixing and the gloves come off so they aren't great

Excellent
Good value kit. Simple enough to use. Goes off quite quickly and sets with a strong feel to it. Very pleased.

Great stuff - useful to have in your tool kit
This is really useful epoxy putty and is a doddle to use. If you've used any two part preparations before you'll appreciate the fact that you only have to use a 1:1 ratio for mixing the two elements together. There's no maths involved and you can just get two equal pieces and mix them together. The instructions tell you to measure the pieces by weight, but I haven't bothered with that and just cut the amount I need using a ruler. It cures quickly, although I haven't had to use it underwater yet. I've actually been using it as part of my model making hobby as it's great for filling cracks and features on dioramas. The price is great when you compare it to the alternative products, so I have to give it five stars and recommend it highly.

works well, but a little difficult to use as you need to wear gloves
This works very well and there is a generous amount of putty. Its easy to mix, but you must use your hands as its similar consistency to blue-tak or plasticine. Basically, you pull of a piece from each part the same size, using your hands mix them up until the colour is even and use.I found it was difficult to use in between tiles. The gloves just get caught up in the putty and the spatula did not really help other than to clean of the excess. What it is good for are seams. So you can roll out a 'worm' of putty and squash it down into the edges. In summary - its very effective. Very easy to use, but because of the warning about skin irritant, having to use the provided gloves makes it hard work with. Next time I will use some bought gloves instead of the plastic ones (that are similar to those you find at a Petrol Station forecourt).

useful
Always good to have something to hand to fix cracks with when they appear. What I like about this kit is that although it's marketed as a "Pool" putty, it can be used for lots of surfaces to fix lots of things, not just pools. In the home for example it can be used to fix a crack in a toilet, bathtub, tile, or even in a piece of concrete. The box says it will bind to plastic, metal, stone, ceramic, wood, glass, acrylic - and more.In the kit you get two malleable clay-like materials. The idea is that when you mix them together 1:1, some kind of chemical reaction happens which makes them harden so that after 45 minutes, it's quite hard and no longer malleable, and within 24 hours it's fully set. You have a little time to fit the mixed putty in place and smooth it out as you like. They give a little plastic spatula to help you smooth it out, and they also give some cheap plastic gloves, so I guess you need to protect your skin from the chemicals in this.In case you're wondering what the ingredients in this are, the back of the box says it contains:Epoxy resin 30%, KAOLIN 60%, PVC 5%, titanium dioxide 2%, silica glass 2% and calcium stearate 1%.There are instructions written on the box to walk you through using this product.Easy to use, and effective. A useful bit of kit. And you can sand and paint or even drill the hardened surface after it's fully cured.

Waterproof sealing putty
Got this to have a go at fixing a water butt in the garden that has sprung a leak. If you didn't know, butts are made of a plastic that nothing sticks to and they are rather expensive to replace. I have fixed them inthe past with a hot air gun and a milk bottle to weld the plastic on as a patch but this is very hit and miss and doesn't always provide a decent seal. Used some of this after draining and cleaning the butt and it was easy to apply and appears to be hardening and sticking. Will update on how effective it is as a sealer in a week or two after this heavy rain that is forecast refills the water butt but it seems to be a good repair at the moment so worth having even if you dont have a swimming pool. Update from 20th April 2025. Best thing since sliced bread!! Water butts still not leaking and the repair on them is lovely, smooth and high quality welded.

A good quality epoxy putty at a decent price.
This is a decent two part epoxy putty, and you get quite a lot of it for your money. It comes in a nice looking branded box. The putty and hardener are individually wrapped inside. It's pretty straightforward to use. Just take equal amounts of both and mix well together. You have about 45 mins working time before it gets too rigid to manipulate. Once left to fully dry, which takes about a day, you can sand, drill and paint it.Though this is primarily being sold as a pool repair putty, it has tons of other uses. I'm using it for model making and crafting. It's a decent alternative to Milliput and behaves in a very similar way. You can smooth it out with water if you want a better finish, just like with that other brand.Overall, I'm quite happy with it. It's a bit cheaper than some epoxy puttys out there, which is another big plus.
