Small but well made.
It’s very well made but is small, very good for passports and other documents.

Hell yes
This bag is stupendously good as a holiday accessory. My observations after a 2 week trip to India with a family of 4:1. The bottle pocket increases the capacity of this bag, and just places the bottle in incredibly easy reach to keep your kids hydrated. Note however that once you really stuff the bag full, the bottle pocket is inelastic, so you cant use it, but youll really be hauling stuff for that go happen.2. If you place a cold bottle of water inside the bag and zip it shut, youve got a little cool bag, it will keep a bottle cool for a couple of hours.3. The back pocket is secure and useful for passports etc.4. The top loading character means you can actually fit loads more in there than the stated 6L if you dont zip it shut.6. As a larger man, the strap was more than adequately long enough. I really liked the versatility of making the strap extremely long or short. Ospreys other cross body Daylite sling backpack has far too short a strap for a 46inch chest. This satchel is much better.7. It went through the washing machine no problem.8. The ipad compartment is flexible and useful for dividing the bag up.9. Ospreys zips are always great, and the zip pull has their usual loop of string and plastic that makes it easy, nigh on pleasurable to open and shut.My wife joked I'm just a man discovering a handbag is really useful. But later in the holiday she acknowledged the great design of this bag, she was jealous of it, so ive bought her one now.I got it in blue/brown. I prefer that to the black one which we also now have. Osprey do have weirdcolours across their brand, but this just works in my opinion. Its understated, which perhaps helps to subconsciously legitimise the act of carrying a handbag? The other bag Ive done a positive review of is the expandable 26L Daylite rucksack in yellow. That bag also hit a sweet spot, although this satchel is better.

Osprey Crossbody Pouch Bag
Ideal lightweight cross body bag to contain essentials. Takes an iPhone and a few essential for those occasions when a bigger bag is not required. My wife loves it and uses it daily.

Too rigid to work in my case
Seeing the reviews talking about how this bag was smaller than expected actually encouraged me to buy it - I was looking for basically a pouch with a crossbody strap option, something big enough for a phone, wallet, keys, passport, and earbuds but nothing bigger. Something like the Eastpak One in form factor, foldable and with a bit of stretch, but with removable straps. I'd also tried the Matador Speed Stash pouch and had been looking at the Fjällräven High Coast Pocket and High Coast Crossbody. The Daylite pouch is bigger than expected - about the size of a Kindle Paperwhite, and it can fit one in the inner sleeve. Zippers are smooth with nice big zipper pulls, the included plastic key leash is nice, and the outer pocket while thin looks great for plane boarding passes.I was expecting it to be the size of a passport pouch, something that could be worn comfortably using the belt loop, but on a 5ft6" female frame it feels a bit too chunky for that. It's very rigid and feels sturdy, but I was looking for something softer and more foldable that could be thrown in a backpack or worn comfortably under a jacket. Overall, it's a solid bag at a great price, but I actually needed something *less* sturdy and more packable.

It’s tiny
Well made as you would expect from Osprey but it really is tiny, it won’t hold much more than a phone and small wallet. Even my glasses case doesn’t fit. Disappointed
