It's honestly not exactly what I expected, I've ordered many floor mats and they usually come in a rolled up form that you have to weigh down and let relax, not to mention the plastic smell. Not this one, it's simply folded in half and no strong smell! The back is very rubbery and grippy and has nubs that grab the carpet rather than big spikes that leave holes in the pile of our carpet. It's very firm and sturdy so the chair rolls easily and the surface is more of a fabric looking material rather than just hard plastic so it looks really nice too.I'll update if it deteriorates unexpectedly quickly or something but so far I'm happier with this one than any others I've purchased (which is unfortunately many) and honestly I expect to replace it after a couple years with the heavy use it gets. I just hope this option is still available when it does wear out because I'd love to purchase it again

This computer chair floor protector is probably the best one I've had it is well made strong does not move and by the way I am using it on a carpeted floor but I tested it on hardwood floor and it does not move on either. It looks like carpet and it's made from a woven material rather than those ugly plastic ones that you usually buy my chair rolls very smoothly on it while it stays completely flat on the floor and unmovable it does exactly what the seller States it does this is one of the best deals I've made this year

The Good: Looks nice, pretty heavy dutyThe Not-So-Good: I live in a low humidity state, so if you're not wearing socks, this mat sucks the moisture out of your feet quickly.The Kind-Of-Dangerous: The edge of the mat sticks up about half an inch. If I'm not careful, I can catch my foot on it and trip. Kind of sucks to have to remember there's a threat for the lifetime of this mat.

Has worked great for our Berber type carpet. Mat is very thick and looks much nicer than the standard clear chair mat. No longer do the wheels get dug in and take feats of strength to get out. Chair rolls like a dream now.

Looks great and the glide is effortless, even after several months of daily use on high pile carpet in a big & tall office chair. The edges have started to lift, though that has happened with every chair mat I've tried. My only complaint is that the mat does not say put and the rubber dots on the bottom are flaking off. If you have lighter carpet, this may be a problem. The bottom of the mat is also black, and though I have not seen any transfer on my gray carpet, I would be cautious on lighter carpet. If they were to add grip teeth, at least to the center of this thing, it would be unstoppable. As-is, I see it lasting about a year before I have to swap it out. I still think it's worth it, though.

This mat ships flat, so issue with smoothing it out. It looks fantastic in my home office. Stays in place. I'm very pleased with this item.

I bought two of these for my two desks and while they're cute and my chair does move a lot better on them than on my carpet, I have to move them back in place almost daily... They move forward so much throughout the day that my chair ends up being halfway in carpet, halfway on the matt and bumping into the back of the matt causing it to curl. It's an annoying problem

This is a lot nicer than I expected it to be! It's made of a (very slightly) rough polyester material, sort of a cross between plastic and fabric. The design is clear and printed very well, the edging is sewn on very securely, and the mat itself is sturdy and strong. It comes folded in half but unfolds easily with no creases or bending, and I've been using it for almost a month now and there's no sign of bending, cracking, scuffing, or other wear and tear you might expect from something of this material. It's a little smaller than I expected, but also too wide to fit easily under my desk - I had to lift my desk and scoot it under to get it far enough forward that my chair wasn't rolling off it all the time. YMMV though. Overall it's pretty fantastic and great value for the price - only issue is that the print is so complex that if I drop something it's almost impossible to find!
