Excellent value for money!!!!
This is a sturdy, well made gig bag which provides ample protection for the instrument. Bought for my daughter to take her sax to school as it is much lighter then her normal case. The rucksack style straps are a brilliant addition and make life much easier when negotiating several bags on the school run! Has a handy side pocket for extras, although it must be noted that this is not large enough for music books. This really is value for money and the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

So flimsy! Can't how see this would offer any protection at all!!
Received this item and was very disappointed how thin the padding was! I know it's supposed to be portable but they could have easily added a few extra layers of sponge or something. I would not trust my case in this at all and want to return it but sadly I have missed the return period so am now stuck with it. I would NOT recommend this if you really want to protect your saxophone. Square cases with back straps are probably a safer bet and I'm disappointed in this because I liked the smaller size and it had good reviews so thought it would be okay but it really is not. There's not even a good pocket for a mouthpiece you just have to kind of chuck it in the middle with the rest of the stuff!

Light weight & 3 ways to carry
Really excellent value case. You will need to wrap neck in cloth and store in bell, but this makes it compact. 11 year old daughter really struggled with standard case but this has made a world of difference. Nice side compartment for reeds neck strap etc. No hesitation recommending this case

Nice bag
This is a well made bag and very light so makes it very easy to carry an alto sax.Main reason for buying this bag was so I could take it on a flight as hand-luggage - but, and it's a big but; the bag is actually 64cm long, not 54.4 as in the description. Should have thought beforehand, but the also sax measures 54cm so if it only had mm of padding at each end it would be a useless bag anyway!Despite being 10cm longer than I thought, am keeping it and will try to talk my way on to the plane with it - other reviewers have done so no problem.Ok, an update...No problem taking this on a return BA flight from London to Milan, which was a relief! One niggle, the pocket for the crook and mouthpiece isn't that big or padded, so we wrapped then in cloths and put them in the bell. Works well enough but would be nice if there was a pocket inside the bag - there is enough space.

But good enough quality for the money
A bit on the small side in terms of with .But good enough quality for the money ,so cant complain. This bag, I use to keep one Alto in at home when not in use. But use my better quality bag(more padding) for carrying around.

Super light weight compared to the Trevor James case that came with the sax. My son was really struggling carrying it to school and back with his bag and PE kit and this solves all the problems. The main body of the sax fits in perfectly and we wrapped the neck and mouthpiece in some cleaning cloths and put it in a drawer string bag which also fits into the main body. We also fitted in his Jazzlab sax holder into the main body as the side pocket is not protected at all. All in all a great product at a fantastic price. Highly recommended.

Although extremely light weight, there is very little padding for the instrument. There is also no where to put the crook apart from the front pocket which has no padding at all.
