Loving this product.
I purchased these for my blue healer mix for her age related issues, like pacing, panting and anxiety. After the first 2 doses (1 per day), she was less anxious, even playful and relaxed with us in the living room instead of pacing the back yard and avoiding the house. After 3 days, we had a thunder storm and she just ignored it. That is a first. She is very nervous and tries to dig at the carpet during storms or fireworks. She loves the treats too.

My rescue has taken these for 5 years
We adopted a rescue dog that had apparently lived in the woods of WV for some time as a stray. She had terrible nightmares every night. A vet recommended these and they have worked all these years! She gets one before bed and has not had a nightmare since we started giving her these. She is a wonderful addition to our family and we are so happy that she can now sleep well at night

No more prozac!
Both my dogs were on prozac. My terrier mix has severe anxiety probably due to being in 3 different homes before hereached the age of 2. Then we saw him online, someone was giving him away and I thought my little bichpoo would benefit from having another dog in the home because of his anxiety. The bichpoo ( we were his second home in less then a yr old)had destructive behavior. He would take anything he could find, take it under my bed and rip it apart. It was a weekly process of basically taking the bed apart and moving it so we could clean up the mess. Once we got our terrier mix we discovered very quickly that we now owned 2 dogs with severe anxiety. My terrier mix had habits of pacing around all the time, whining terribly, and other behaviors that weren't destructive but we could tell that by his behavior that just looking in to his eyes he was always terrified and skittish. Probably because of him living in so many homes and think the previous owner either abused him or didn't know how to deal with him. So we took both dogs to our vet and explained the issues we were having and the Dr put them but on prozac. We did see some relief from the dogs however my terrier mix still paced around all the time and just couldn't seem to settle down. So he put him on a second medication along with the prozac which helped some but I wasn't crazy about my dogs being on medication like that. But it seemed to be helping so we kept them bith on their meds. Then I started working from home and because it was a call center job I was required to have a room just for my office that had to be quit so the callers didn't hear any noise. I of course kept the dogs in the office with me because I didn't want them barking. And my terrier mix started pacing in circles while I was trying to work and he would just never settle down so I contacted my vet and told the so they recommended this product and I of course ordered it to see if it would help him. I ran out of the prozac and other medication so I thought I would just try this product on it's own and see what happens. Well after about a week I noticed both dogs behaviors chsnged dramatically my bichpoo was nice and calm no problem from him. But the biggest surprise I got was my terrier mix no longer paced around the room in circles anymore, he was very calm and they both just kind of layed around while I did my job. And I had no problems from themas far as that goes. It's an amazing product that has made our household much better and has really done wonders for our dogs. My terrier mix still has issues when we god out and he has to go in his crate but I think that in his mind he believes that we're leaving him and not coming back because I am at home all the time with them. So we still have that issue but for the most part he will calm down on e we actually leave the house. It's an amazing product that has helped my dogs and I no longer have to fear about liver damage from them being on prozac all the time. It's something we will continue to use in our household for both dogs who seem to be much happier now that their anxieties have been reduced. It hasn't helped my terrier mix completely but I would say he's 90% better then he was and we now can enjoy them both without any problems and they are a joy to be around now.

Not working for my girl
I was hopeful that this would calm down my anxious Papillion but sadly it hasn’t helped. I do know someone else who swears by this product.

Works Well for Anxiety
Like all other anxiety products or medication, it takes about 2 months for it to make a difference. So please don't buy and expect something overnight. All good things take time. This is also not a cure-all but works well in giving us the edge we needed to start training! My dog is very afraid of strangers, typically men which is common. We just hit two months and two weeks on this product and he can now hang around my dad with me and not panic! He's still very wary of my brother but one step at a time. I expect to be able to get over big fears in the coming year with this product! And if we hit a wall, I will spring for blood work and something like fluoxitine but for now this has given us a good edge. It's worth to try it out first if you don't want to jump right into vet prescribed medicine. But of course, you still need to train your dog with this, it will not do the training for you!

So hard and stale the cats wouldn't/couldn't eat them.
Bought these for 2 young cats who got so scared going to the vet they pooped on themselves (they are very chill at home). The vet recommended this since they had to go back 2 wks later to get a dental cleaning. These are advertised as being "soft" and the package said that, too. They are about the size of Pill Pockets for cats (if you know the size of those). They are not soft at all. They were hard - maybe it was a really really old and stale bag they sent me. Or maybe that's how they are. When I tried to squish them between my thumb and index finger they crumbled into hard, dry pieces. My cats, who normally eat anything, wouldn't eat the pieces. Maybe because they smell "chemically."These were a complete waste of money.I would recommend, if you are really determined to try these, that you find them at a pet store where you can squeeze them in the bag and see if they're soft. They will still smell chemically, though. I can't imagine they taste good based on the smell. There are not separate products for cats and dogs, the bag is labelled for both. If they are actually supposed to be hard, then they aren't, IMO, appropriate for cats' teeth, just dogs' teeth.I would never try these again and cannot recommend them.

Good for adjusting a new dog
When we first adopted our senior dog he had anxiety about being left alone, even for an hour. He would destroy and eat things, like his bed. We started giving him this and it worked. It helped him transition from being an outside dog to an inside family dog. We love the company that makes it, we use their joint supplements daily for the dogs too! It felt like an obvious choice to use this.

It didn't work for my 12.5 lb Havanese.
I liked the size and the crushability of the supplement because I was able to make it part of a breakfast. But it didn't help.
