The media could not be loaded. I never knew "marine" grade heat shrink tubing existed until a neighbor enlightened me. So, I searched Amazon and bought this kit for the "Pros" listed below, plus the good Amazon review score.My video shows the ease of use and my photo shows the cooled connection with a thin bead of hardened adhesive between the wire and the tubing. That's where the waterproofing comes from.Pros:Kit includes several tubing diameters that will work with the most common wire gauges.The quantity of each size is very generous - 360 pieces may last me the rest of my life!The 3-1/2" length of each piece is enough for most needs.The adhesive lining provides a secure and waterproof connection.The carrying/storage case is a big plus and makes it simple to find the optimal sized tubing.The 3:1 shrink ratio pretty much guarantees a good seal.Cons:None that I am aware of.In summary, I've had non-adhesive shrink tubing allow the wires to pull loose from the connection many times because the tubing didn't form a tight enough bond to the wire. The adhesive liner with this tubing solves that problem.I wish I had discovered this type of heat shrink tubing long ago!Even when a wiring connection does not need to be waterproof, the adhesive adds greatly to the strength of the joint. You can't go wrong with this kit.

Good quality, nice assortment of sizes, easy to use, works as it was designed to.

It's so nice to have a box of heat shrink instead of searching high and low for just one or two isn't it? I'm building up a solar system and I'm always cutting wires and adding some sort of lug or connector. The nice thing about this kit is the shear number of wraps in the box. I just made some short battery connectors and needed 4 pretty large wraps. The first one I used the entire wrap and then realized that they are so long, I could cut each one in half and have plenty of coverage. Basically instead of 400 pieces for $15, I now have about 800. I probably won't be using some of the sizes but this box will probably last for years and years. They shrink down well even though I used a lighter instead of a heat gun, I just didn't want to dig that out for 4 connections.Overall: if you need good heat shrink tubing, love a good selection and ease of installation, this is for you.

Always seem to need heat shrink, found this kit for a fraction of the cost of the parts and big box stores.

I haven’t been able to use this product yet but as far as I can tell, this will be perfect for my applications. The size range is awesome!

I do lots of wiring projects and use these all the time to seal off wires and engine bases, on chassis, stereos, you name it. They seem to be a good quality and shrink much more than your standard heat shrink would. They shrink easily with your standard heat gun or even lighter works fine. The adhesive grabs strong and seals off well. You basically have to remove the wire coating as well once the adhesive sets. Would definitely by again!

Use this kit all the time for a lot of my RV repair wiring repairs. Shrinks as expected and seals very well. Owning a RV repair business i go through a lot of products and when it comes to my wiring needs this product has really been a good one.

I wanted an assortment of heat shrink tubing for car stereo and other electronic stuff. This is a great assortment of sizes. It's easy to cut the tubes down to the length you need, and there's a width for every use I can think of. You can even stack sizes one ontop of the other if you need to join a small wire to a larger connector. The adhesive on the inside of the tubes is great and really helps to seal the wires and connectors from moisture and dust. Comes in a nice case and I'll have plenty of what I need for years to come.
