Q: What material are these made of?

it appears to be made of a semi-hardened 'string' of plastic melded together. I like it very much b/c the soap does not sit in water on our tiled shower shelf. to clean it I either drop it on the floor and let the shower spray on it or throw one or two of these in a mesh bag in with the laundry. Comes with 4 in a pack so I can swap them out.

Redman Washington so it’s USA made!! I love the ones I bought & would recommend highly!! It’s great to use for soap bars but also love to scrub the bottoms of my feet, feels like a foot massage as well as to scrub tub with!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Q: How long do these last? Why would you need to "subscribe"?

I do not agree with the subscription. I've had mine for a few months and have no reason to need new ones.
