A great little umbrella for your purse or the car
I got this umbrella. Not expecting much in the way of quality. I was pleasantly surprised that this is pretty sturdy. As umbrellas go, the wand center is hollow of course for telescopic purposes. So like any other umbrella, if somebody were to step on it, like my sibling, it would bend and have difficulty retracting or extending. I was lucky enough that my husband is Handy and was able to bend ours back with relative ease and get everything straightened and working perfectly again. My toddler loves being able to push the button to extend and close this umbrella when it's raining. And I love how compact the body of it is. A downside is that it's nearly impossible to get it back in its cute little sleeve, but I don't know many people who end up putting it back in those anyway. So no lost there. Overall, it's a good size for a personal umbrella, or a personal plus a small person like a toddler. It's a decent value as it works perfectly well and the reflective strip is a nice safety touch.

Backpackers perfect umbrella! Love it!
I did tons of research looking for the lightest, smallest, compact umbrella. When your backpacking you are looking for those features in a product especially the lightest. I weighed this as soon as I got it to see if they were telling a fib about the weight. Its true, it was 6.5 oz, IF you take the outer fabric case off. You wont need that anyway. The ball handle covers and conceals the pointy ends very well so those pointy ends dont poke holes in bags in your backpack. With the umbrella closed it fits in the palm of my hand from the tip of my finger to the end of my palm, just under 7 inches long. Truly the perfect backpacking umbrella, and for $10 its way better and lighter than the Heliox hiking umbrella for $80. It is a little hard to open it all the way but if you know that you have to push it up hard till it clicks that becomes a non issue after the first time you open it. The trade off for it being so light is completely worth it. Its not super sturdy but it is sturdy enough to use it for what it is supposed to be used for, so no jumping off cliffs and using it as a parachute! It is also a little small side when fully opened but again for me, thats a non issue ITS LIGHT, and it will cover my shoulders for those light rains. Heavy rains and wind I will pull out the Frog toggs.

Small problems, but worked during hurricane
Nice umbrella, but it takes extra umph to latch it closed; the Velcro closure isn’t long enough to secure the umbrella without placing it back into the very tight case that came with it; and you’ll probably never be able to fit it back into the case once it’s out. With that said, it was able to hold up in Category One Hurricane Beryl, so well done!

Gorgeous & seems sturdy!
I haven't gotten to use it much yet (which is a good thing, right?), but I tested it out at home and just love it. I bought it for my husband and I, and the first one I bought was a more normal-sized umbrella. This one is definitely LARGE! It can comfortably fit us both with some extra room to account for bags or that pesky sideways rain. I really love the bright colors and imagine it'll hold up well to both sun and rain! I can pop it open and back myself, the automatic folding is really handy, and I love the way it folds inside out so it tries not to get you wet! I appreciate that. The actual manual pulling the umbrella all the way back in to snap it in place is a bit difficult, but sliding it into its little carrying sleeve was easy. I hope the difficulty just means that the automatic open/close mechanism will last forever! ;) Overall very happy with this purchase & can't wait to put some miles on it. I'll report back if anything suspicious occurs!

Disappointing Quality – Weak and Fragile
I was hoping for a reliable, compact umbrella for travel, but the ALFROTEY Mini Folding Travel Umbrella fell short of my expectations. While it's lightweight and easy to carry, the quality is quite poor. The structure feels very flimsy, and it struggled to hold up in even light wind and rain. I wouldn’t recommend this if you need a durable or sturdy umbrella.

Works Well For The Occasional Rain
I’d recommend this umbrella because it’s great quality you can get it many different colors. Mine has never had any problems! The strap to Velcro it closed could be a little longer but otherwise does the job just fine!

Heavy duty
These are double thickness umbrellas so there's little chance you'll get wet when using them. The only problem we had with them is one mentioned by other reviewers, that they can be diificult to close. One's closure mechanism was ruined when a preteen tried to force it closed the wrong way. The best way is to place the tip of the umbrella on the ground or floor and gently press the umbrella straight down until you hear the click. They look classic and sturdy and have held up well throughout the rainy months.

Not worth it
Used it for 5-6 times after purchase. All of a sudden today, it simply blast open and stuck. Can’t use it. Very bad build quality. I don’t recommend it. It’s stuck in the position as in picture.
