It is well made and the mechanism works and grips the MacBook reasonably well, a little less gripped than expected but no issues. The rubber edge to support the iPad or other, is just stuck in place so lifted a little. Overall good value.

I cam across this laptop holder for my macbook pro 2022. I needed a stand for it rather than leaving it lying around flat on my desk an taking space. Found this product and ordered it with no hesitation.The boxing is OMG. feels like a product directly made by Apple. It had a clear clean film and very satisfactory to open. Having said that though, The packaging was over kill. For the size of the item, they could have made the packaging much leaner. I guess it is called Branding.Once you open the box, you get this aluminium coated heavy steel sparkling silver laptop stand. The quality blown me away from the first touch. The item is make with a lot of thought. There are spring on the bottom and rubber grips on both faces. The spring feels sturdy and well hiddenBut it is until I used it that I appreciated it even more. The spring system si there because as you put the laptop in, the stand will tighten to hold the laptop in place. when you take it out the spring expands and the gap between 2 part increases. CleverThe gap is sufficient for various thickness of laptop. so it is one size fits all.The rubber grips on the faces are actually phone holder. Wow what a thoughtful addition. I can now place my pone on the laptop stand too which means one more vertical place for a device saving space on my desk.There is no manual adjustment required and hence no screw on display.From my review it is clear that I am very impressed with this product,
