Amazing X-Sense
I just got a lot of the X-Sense products and love all of them. This temperature sensor is in my kids room and it alerts me when the temperature is to high or to low. I can also check the trends and see when I need to adjust my thermostat for the house at night because the thermometer will show when the room temp starts to drop.Overall the X-Sense products are top tier and I definitely want my parents to invest in this system as well.

Remotely and reliably monitor temperature and humidity
This is a great product for remotely monitoring temperature and humidity. It works exceptionally well, is a breeze to setup. The app supports multiple base stations as well so you can have multiple locations if necessary. For me, I have 2 base stations — one that I use to monitor my barn, farm office, and greenhouse, and the other that monitors my beehives — I place the sensors inside the hives. I do wish the thermo hygrometer sensors were a bit smaller, like Govees, but other than that have zero complaints. Battery life is very good. App performance is excellent and can easily view timeline trends per sensor by day, week, etc. A trend line report that would show all of a base stations connected sensors would be nice but there isn’t one currently. I have not tried any of X-Senses other sensors or safety / smoke detectors but if I had a need wouldn’t hesitate to add them to my systems.

Fun for Temperature Nerds
These sensors are the bomb. The set up is a bit fiddly, but once done, it works. I have mostly been using them to troubleshoot a too-warm refrigerator. I put one sensor inside the freezer part of the fridge, and it has no trouble sending data to the base unit, despite being surrounded by metal. Sample rate is 1 per minute, and seems to be non-adjustable. The data export feature sends a CSV file to your email. (note that the data is in reverse chronological order) The only complaint I have is minor– with the phone app, I haven’t found a way to show a combined graph of all 3 sensors. You have to export the data for all 3 channels, and then manually graph them together in Excel. Otherwise, a very cool gadget.

Works as listed
Simple to set up and super fun to monitor. Bought the three pack, set up one inside greenhouse, one outside greenhouse outside, and the third inside my house. Straight forward product that works.

Very Impressed and Happy with the X-Sense Wi-Fi Hygrometers, but I have issues with the App.
These were VERY easy to set up, and they have been working great. For most people they are acceptably accurate, within 1.5 degrees at 75 degrees. I'm more OCD, so I calibrated them to match a laser thermometer I use for reference. Overall, I'm very happy with these, but I do have a few minor complaints with the app.1. When the temperature went over one of the set levels, I instantly received a notification. This was exactly what I needed and it was the main reason I bought these. But a few seconds later I received another notification that it was back in range. For the next two minutes I received about 10 messages reporting that it was out and then back in range. A little annoying, but for me, it was a small price to pay to know that I could count on them to notify me when they were out of range.2. Some of the text within the app is too small and printed in light gray making it nearly impossible to read.3. On the Home Screen the Base Station shows up first, but it doesn't need to be accessed very often, if ever, and it should be positioned last. The thermometers show up in the order they were added, but that's not the order I want them to be in. There doesn't seem to be anyway to reposition them. These are small issues, but it cost them one star.

Mailbox Alarm, Security Cameras and Hygrometer All Work Great
Overall easy set up, good connection, work great.General:1. Every item has an easy step up.2. The range seems to be great. I've installed some smart switches, smart bulbs, and outlets that are quite touchy and don't have very good range, but not these. Seem to come right back when we loose power. Knock on wood, we haven't had problems with them going offline.3. I saw a comments that you can't assign multiple accounts to the base station. This true, but you can put them all on one account and share them and that works fine. Note that the Mailbox Alarm and Hygrometer/Thermometers all share when added to the base station. For the Cameras you have to share each one individually.4. These units all take "normal" batteries (triple or double AA, can't remember which) except the camera which have built in lithium rechargables. The app shows the battery strength which is handy.5. I think the dashboard would be better if you had an option to see a tabular (spreadsheet style) display, especially if you have a lot of devices. App in general works well, but could be better.6. No subscription required to get functionalityMailbox Alarm:Our mailbox is over 200 feet away and there is no line of sight, so I was concerned this would work but no problem.Hygrometers/Thermometers:These were $10 off for 3 with a base station, so that was cheaper then buying them individually. We have them outside (On a covered porch) and all over the house. We use some fans to move air from a finished basement to the upstairs to cut down on the AC. These have helped us improve the placement. Has an export data function, but I haven't tried it yet.Cameras:1. You can get a cloud service subscription, but you don't have to. Motion sensing works great. At medium it triggers on people but not the cats.2. We are mostly shady, but the solar cells seem to draw enough to keep the cameras charged up. You need to get a SD card per camera if you want to store and retrieve.3. The share function requires more steps and has to be done for each camera. Seemed to lag from when you shared to when you could access, but they all eventually worked (maybe 5 minutes?). Could be because some where updating firmware.4. These work where other items were not able to get on the WIFi.5. There is some lag in the motion alarm and the actual motion.6. You get a mic and speaker on each camera. Work fine with few second lag.7. Each camera takes it's own SD card. Supposed to be able to download, but I haven't found that.8. Viewing the recorded videos is 3 steps in the app (Click camera, then gear, then history) Would be better right Camera click. Not the greatest for picking out recordings (you have to scroll a line to a dot) but it all works.
