This is the best $$ I have spent on my pups. I bought this for my long haired doxie because she sheds when her hair is long and she can be difficult for me to groom her at home. The last time I went to the groomer it cost me $110 and my dog's hair was not cut as short as I had asked for. I took a chance and bought this and it came in same day in the afternoon. Normally grooming my dog can take 2 days because I have to do it in small blocks because she does not like it. Well, I received the product around 5:30 pm and opened it around 7pm. By 8:30 pm my dog's grooming was finished. I was able to cut her hair to the length I wanted with the trimmer and she pretty much sat well the entire time. The trimmer comes with different guards so you have different lengths to choose from and the quality of the trimmer itself is pretty good. The other trimmer I have vibrates a lot and it scares my dog. This one sucks and cuts at the same time with little vibration from the trimmer. I had zero hair on me or the ottoman I was grooming her on because this vacuum sucks in the hair as it is being cut. I then proceeded to brush my other 3 dogs with the brush attachment and was pleased to see their hair was also in the vacuum bin and not on the floor or on me. They do not all like it but they will get used to it eventually. My kids think it's great and have been brushing the dogs without me asking them to do it. It's not loud, has 3 settings and many attachments. It cost me less than a grooming session for just 1 dog.

OMG I was so shocked and surprised at how well this worked! I have a 12 year old mini Aussie with tons of long silky hair that is very flyaway and mats very easily. We live in Arizona where it gets hot so we keep hiker trimmed up. She was a little nervous when we started but she calmed down and let me trim a ton of hair off. The vacuum is really quiet and has a lot of suction. I brushed her with the grooming brush first and then trimmed around her bum, tummy, neck, ears and even took some length off the rest of her. I filled the canister 3 times! I had very little hair that’s didn’t get sucked up while brushing her. My other mini Aussie has shorter and more coarse hair. She likes to roll in the rocks and dirt in their running path so I just needed to brush and suck the dirt out. She is also very nervous but she too settled down and let me brush her. Clean up was easy. It is well built with several filters and multi levels of suction. I really liked that the trimmer is attached to the hose so the hair is easily sucked up as you go. It is light weight but sturdy. It is well designed. I would give this a 10🌟if that was an option.

This things was everything I imagined and more. For context, I have a Great Pyrenees who is an inside dog. She’s a shedder. I have used handheld shed combs, changed her diet, and bathe her regularly but there is no shortage of hair to shed. So, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try this vacuum out. Let me tell you, I was sincerely impressed. Also, I haven’t read any other reviews on this, so if I am being redundant I apologize.So, this thing has all of the perfect little details you didn’t know you needed. For starters, it actually looks really classy with the leather handle. No practical purpose, but a nice touch. Next, the freaking cord! It has a track underneath that you can wind up the excess cord to without making the base uneven, and a nice little groove to hold the running end in place. Perfect.And then… the hose. Good diameter and it doesn’t bend or kink. Perfect. It’s also got wiring running through it so the clippers don’t need batteries. Oh, and the clippers!! It just snaps in place and then you can turn it on while the vacuum runs and sucks the hair right up. Boom, daddio. How cool is that? It’s got multiple guards for perfect trimming length. It runs smooth and doesn’t snag the hair. It’s even got lubricant to keep the trimmers in tip top shape.And then, the shed comb. It attaches to the vacuum hose so all the loose hair just get cleaned up. And the long hair that gets snagged on the comb? Fancy you should ask! The base of the comb raises to the tip of the comb tines so all the hair that was snagged gets pushed to the surface and sucked in the hose! Sweet!But wait…. There’s more!! I went to dump all the hair and was dreading it because there was so much in there I knew it was gonna make a mess when I pulled the canister out. Boy, was I wrong. It’s got a seal on it that traps all the hair inside until you are over the trash can and can safely dump the hair. No mess. No stragglers.It’s quiet enough that it doesn’t make my dog panic, even the trimmers. Just a smooth running machine. And it’s not even that expensive! I was expecting a lower quality machine for the price but again, I was happily wrong. The oooooooonly complaint I have, and it doesn’t even warrant losing any stars, is the hose length. It’s kinda short for a Great Pyrenees. But, not everyone has a polar bear for a dog so it’s probably perfect for everyone else.Hands down, probably the greatest Amazon find in a long time. I highly recommend this bad boy for anyone who is interested.

I was weary, but hopeful. Our large breed is deathly afraid of the house vacuum, the sight of it or the sound of me taking it out of the closet is enough to cause him to run to the furthest corner of the house and cower. While he has never experienced any sort of trauma, other than the time we ran out of his favorite wet food... the house vacuum is terrifying!This vacuum: After overcoming his inital skepticism, this is absolutely our pups FAVORITE THING! It is a compact canister vacuum, with 3 suction settings for the vacuum (very good suction on max setting). It is fairly quiet, enough that you can "vacuum your dog" in the living room and watch tv just fine. It holds 2 LITERS of hair. I've been using it regularly for a month and still haven't had to empty it (your mileage may vary).Using this grooming vacuum for our pup's short hair (with an under coat) has noticeably reduced the amount of dog fur after vacuuming with the house vacuum. This grooming vacuum really does work for pet fur. I have not attempted to use the other grooming/clipping tools yet.
