Exactly What I Needed!
We have a preschooler and first grader, so I was looking for fun ways for them to learn sight words and feel more confident reading. These magnets are really great!! There are 632 words included and they’re separated by color (pre-k, Kindergarten, first, second, third, and then nouns! We have a fun “secret passcode game” we play with and they have so much fun learning with them. Each week, I’ll set a few (4-6 words) on the fridge and they have to say the “secret passcode” in order to open the fridge! Ha!So versatile and would even be great to take on a road too or airplane ride: making sentences or finding words they see along the way.

Easy to read, common words
My first impressions are that this is a nice, easy-to-read set of word tiles that include lots of commonly used, basic words. They're certainly good quality for learning individual words. Time will tell if there are enough pronouns and such to make sentence-forming practical. The words come connected in sheets, and you pull them apart along the pre-cut lines. This was not difficult, but I'm not sure I'd let a very small kid do it as I suspect tiles would end up everywhere. That's my biggest concern: keeping the tiles corralled and organized in a way that makes finding and using the words easy and fun. It's a nice product.Update: It takes a bit of time and effort to get all of the words pulled free from each other. The kids ended up helping--and not very carefully, either. Yet none of the word magnets tore or were damaged. So far, they're holding up to use well. It's great that there are a lot of words, but I'm still trying to figure out a good way to display/store all of the possible words so one can quickly scan through them for certain words or see what's available. The kids enjoy making up silly sentences. For the 4-year-old, it's a bit random as she can't read but loves hearing what her sentence say. For the 6.5-year-old, she can already read all of the words and put them together in pretty good sentences, and she enjoys showing off what she can do.

Great for young kids
My 5-year-old just graduated kindergarten and is going into first grade and I really want to make sure that he doesn't forget his sight words and also learn to more sight words and starts being able to form sentences and start reading even more efficiently before he goes to first grade I also have a toddler who loves the alphabet and knows one or two simple sight words so this is really great for the two of them one can teach the other and they can both learn together there are so many words I definitely cannot fit them all on my fridge not at the same time anyways but it's really amazing to have the options

Great find
Have been looking for a set of magnetic sight words to help my daughter for awhile. Glad I found this set. Much more economical than having to buy multiple sets. And better than having multiple boxes to keep track of. Definitely recommend.

A great educational sight words tool
My son is going into second grade and struggling with his sight words. I have been looking for different tools to help him with his sight words. I am a big believer in trying many different methods to assist him in learning his sight words and these looked like a quick and fun way to work on memorizing his sight words. Originally I was using post it’s and putting them on our pantry doors. Unfortunately they lost their stickiness after a while and I was constantly having to create new ones. When I saw these magnets I knew that I had to have them. When I received the magnets I was impressed that there are so many sight words in such a small box, I love that they are small and don’t take up much room, we have many educational tools and I am running out of room. This set includes all of my sons sight words plus more. Each sight word is coded with a different shape based on grade level. If by chance a sight word that you need is not included there are blank tiles that you can personalize. These magnets are a great tool to help your child memorize their sight words.

Love this set
I have always liked Poetry Words but I never thought about using just the Sight Words to help students build a short found poem among their sight words. All the text are black on a white magnet 3/4" (1.9 cm). Font looks to be like a hand written font style. Officially the text is about 27 pt high. The best part of this set: the words are coded with a symbol on the card if they are Dolch Pre-K (Preprimer), Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3 grade, or nouns. Also included are individual letters capital and lower case, inflected endings (-ly, -es, -s, -ing, -ed, -er), and punctuation. There are a variety of high frequency words that fall into none of the aforementioned categories, for example "birthday".This series allows students a different way to interact with their frequency words and perhaps are best served for students who are in that middle stage of knowing some frequency words and needing to identify other frequency words. One issue to keep an eye out for with the words, like all poetry words, since the magnet is thin, if the word gets caught in a corner, the word may bend.Cannot wait to try these out. I am probably going to get some used cookie sheets for students to have these sprinkled across to work with.

HUGE VARIETY AND AWESOME QUALITY
This is an incredible set for new readers. Not only do you get a huge variety of sight words to learn, but there are some individual letters in here to help with spelling, and because so many common words are included, you can easily make tons of sentences out of these. There are also some pieces in here with letters you can add on to different words as you need them, things like "ly" or "ed" that can be added to so many of these words to change them slightly. I also love that these are coded with symbols that help give you a starting point if you're not sure which words might work well for a certain age. The magnets on these are nice high quality and stick well. Overall awesome set for a huge age range, and highly recommend.
